Do you know a lot of things have been going wrong in our lives and God has been the one to intercede for us, even without our knowledge. The unseen battles, he fought for us, the unknown battles He fought for us, day or in the night. God is merciful.

Look at the economic situation of Nigeria; by His mercies, we are not consumed by what is going on in the world. We are still surviving amid hardship. Is God not merciful? Of course, He is.
Lamentations 3:22 It is of the LORD's mercies that we are not consumed because his compassions fail not.
Lamentations 3:23 They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.
His compassion fails not, Glory be to God, in heaven. God is not a man, and he should lie. His compassion will still remain, and nobody will take away his compassion. The compassion of the lord is unconditional not like the compassion of men. The mercies of the lord are so deep and beyond human understanding. We need him more to understand this mystery of mercy. His compassion is endless and boundless, and it will stand forever, no matter what.
The next verse says the mercies of God are new every morning. This suggests that every blessed day is renewed or refreshed by his mercy. As the day breaks, so as our hope is renewed for good things. The last part says, for great is thy faithfulness. Meaning that no matter what we are facing in this life, challenges, and difficulties, God still remains faithful and his promises are yes and amen. His love never ceases. He cares for us every day and his thoughts are of peace and not of evil.
Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.
Despite, what we are going through in this life, God's word has reassured us that His plan for our future is beautiful, bringing peace and restoration to us in due time.
God is good, and his mercies endure forever. His thoughts are precious and peaceful to us who are hoping in him.
He is faithful, just, ageless, and changeless. He is the same yesterday, today, and forever. At times, God will allow us to experience hardship so that we will remember his throne of Grace for approach.
Thank you, Jesus, for everything you are doing in my life; your mercy is your true character.
Just know that we are not consumed. And we should learn to be thankful to him.
