Looking unto Jesus Christ the author and the finisher of our faith. The sustainer of all creation, the restorer of the lost.
The Word of God does not deny earthly troubles famines, wars, and distress but it goes deeper to the root. The true issue is not outward lack, but inward corruption.
“But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.” (2 Timothy 3:13, KJV)
What you see in that image wealth, indulgence, excess, laughter without restraint is not new. It mirrors the days before judgment fell.
“And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.” (Genesis 6:5, KJV)
The crisis is moral decay. When men love pleasure more than God, society rots from within:
“Lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;
Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof.” (2 Timothy 3:4–5, KJV)
Money itself is not the enemy—but the love of it is:
“For the love of money is the root of all evil.” (1 Timothy 6:10, KJV)
You can have full tables, flowing drinks, and stacks of wealth and still be spiritually bankrupt. Christ warned of this deception:
“For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?” (Mark 8:36, KJV)
The world focuses on gas prices, markets, and economies—but God looks at the heart. Nations fall not merely because of economic failure, but because of sin.
“Righteousness exalteth a nation: but sin is a reproach to any people.” (Proverbs 14:34, KJV)
So the message is not just condemnationit is a call to repentance.
“Except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish. (Luke 13:3, KJV)
There is still mercy. There is still grace through Jesus Christ. The solution to the “real crisis” is not policy, wealth, or reform It is transformation of the heart.
“Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me. (Psalm 51:10, KJV)
That is the true remedy. Until man turns from sin and back to God, no economy no matter how strong can save him.
