Hi everyone, it's a pleasure to have you all here, indeed we've learned a lot together. The best platform ever. Let's enjoy the new week with hope of a happy ending as God may have it.
I chose to talk about being kind and at the same time, learn to stand your ground in terms of decisions making when necessary.
Without being influenced, they're beautiful ways of saying No to unfavorable situations and people without hurting anyone.
You should be known for something good 👍.
In a no shell, all am saying is that
You can be kind and still say no.
Kindness does not mean saying yes to everything.
Kindness does not mean stretching yourself until you are exhausted.
And kindness definitely does not mean allowing people to take advantage of your heart.
Many people confuse kindness with availability.
They think because you are calm, understanding, and supportive, you should always agree, always help, and always sacrifice your comfort.
But real kindness includes honesty.
Real kindness includes boundaries.
Real kindness includes self-respect.
Saying “no” doesn’t make you rude.
It means you understand your limits.
It means you value your time.
It means you are protecting your mental and emotional space.
You can say no politely.
You can say no respectfully.
You can say no without guilt.
Because every time you say yes to something that drains you,
you are silently saying no to your peace, your energy, and sometimes even your growth.
Emotional intelligence is knowing when to help and when to step back.
You can care about people and still protect yourself.
You can support others and still protect your time.
You can be kind and still choose what is healthy for you.
Kindness and boundaries can live in the same heart.
Have you ever struggled with saying no to people? Then feel good, you're the reason for this seasonal message written out by your handsome friend John Petra.
