Greetings pals... I've been meaning to share a thought about women considering praying for divine strength as important as morning tea.
I think one of the most important prayers women need to pray for is for daily strength.
I had an engagement to speak at a gathering recently, and I began to notice something deeply. Public speaking is not just a skill, it can feel spiritual.
You are standing before people with depth of knowledge, yet you are not merely speaking to faces in a room, you are speaking into their atmospheres.
And those atmospheres are not always neutral.
People come with different intentions, some are open and receptive, some are distracted, some carry silent resistance, some may not even believe in you yet. In some cases, there are those who feel threatened by your presence, even before you say a word and can't believe you have so much wisdom oozing out of you.
So you stand there, carrying something God has placed in you, while navigating unseen tensions in the room.
This is why strength becomes necessary.
Because when God calls you into spaces, whether in speaking, leadership, or influence, He is not only giving you a message, He is also asking you to stand in it fully, even when it feels uncomfortable or unwelcoming.
There are moments where you may feel unseen, questioned, sized up or misread.
Moments where the weight of perception tries to shrink your confidence. But in those moments, strength is what keeps you steady.
Strength to not shrink, strength to not be shaken by silence or resistance, strength to still deliver what you were sent to deliver.
For any young woman stepping into purpose, this is not optional. It is necessary.
Because without strength, even the most prepared message can feel like it has fallen flat. But with strength, even in uncertainty, you will definitely stand anchored.
So yes, please pray for strength.
Not just to speak, but to stand.
Not just to be heard, but to remain grounded while being heard.
Not just to show up, but to carry what God has entrusted to you without losing yourself in the process.
Strength is not loud, but it is what sustains you.
