"I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me." (Galatians 2:20)
As believers, we must understand and operate by the Sovereign Laws of Dominion —divine principles that give God’s people an advantage in life. One such law is The Law of Total Surrender, which involves a deliberate, wholehearted submission of oneself to God.
Total surrender means relinquishing control and allowing Christ to live through you. It is the foundation of a life fully devoted to God, enabling us to fulfill the greatest commandment: loving the Lord with all our heart, soul, and mind (Matthew 22:37). When we surrender, we declare, "I no longer live for myself—my life belongs to Christ."
This surrender signifies death to self—your will, desires, and decisions are submitted to God. You become a bondservant of the Holy Spirit, allowing Him to lead every aspect of your life—relationships, career, and destiny. As Paul wrote, "For to me, to live is Christ, and to die is gain" (Philippians 1:21). Your passions shift from earthly pursuits to heavenly priorities: "Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth" (Colossians 3:2).
Total surrender is not passive; it is an active, daily yielding to God’s will. It means trusting Him completely, even when His plans differ from yours. When you fully surrender, you experience true freedom, purpose, and divine fulfillment.
Ask the LORD to help you yield yourself wholly to the LORD.
