Hello, everyone!
There is this character in the Bible I so much like, and I would like to imitate her so much, which is Esther. She likes seeking the presence of God before making any decision or step. She would pray and fast for God's presence.
She found her purpose in the presence, she discovered herself in the presence and she was all out for her people.
In the scripture, I could read how she said, if I perish, I perish. And whenever she seeks God's presence, she comes out with God's favor and victory over any unseemly situation.
I love her so much that she doesn't depend on her beauty or knowledge, but on God's knowledge and understanding.
Esther 4:15-16 RSV [15] Then Esther told them to reply to Mordecai, [16] “Go, gather all the Jews to be found in Susa, and hold a fast on my behalf, and neither eat nor drink for three days, night or dayMy maids and Ids will also fast as you do. Then I will go to the king, though it is against the law; and if I perish, I perish.”
She doesn't fold her hands and sit and watch bad things happening to her people, instead, she would stand up to intercede for them.
Thank you
