For more than a week I have been playing Axie Infinity, a super entertaining NFT game and “Play to Earn”. Which means that the winnings made in the game are real winnings in cryptocurrencies.
I'm not going to go into too much detail explaining everything about Axie Infinity as there must be a lot of posts dedicated to that and also the game is so famous that practically everyone has heard about it at some point.
I firmly believe that these types of earning games will have a huge explosion in the coming years and traditional games will have to think about how they are going to deal with this great competition.
Why have fun paying if I can have fun winning?
Desde hace más de una semana ya estoy jugando Axie Infinity, un super juegazo NFT muy entretenido y “Play to Earn”. Lo que significa que las ganancias que se obtienen en el juego son ganancias reales en criptomonedas.
No voy a extenderme mucho explicando todo sobre Axie Infinity ya que debe haber muchas publicaciones dedicadas a eso y además el juego es tan famoso que prácticamente todos hemos escuchado sobre él en algún momento.
Creo firmemente que este tipo de juegos en los que se obtienen ganancias tendrán una gran explosión en los próximos años y los juegos tradicionales tendrán que ir pensando cómo van a enfrentarse a esta gran competencia.
¿Por qué divertirme pagando si puedo divertirme ganando?

The thing with these games is that they are clearly not free, nobody gives away anything in this world without hidden intentions and it should be that way. If you make money in the game, it is clear that to keep that economy running you must put some of your money initially in addition to your playing time.
In order to start playing you need at least 3 Axies, the characters of the game and with whom you face the opponents. Said Axies cost real money as they are sold by other players in a supply and demand market. They vary in price depending on their characteristics and possibilities in battle. And also they are not cheap, a basic team does not cost less than 500 US dollars approximately (paid in ETH).

El asunto con estos juegos es que claramente no son gratis, nadie regala nada en este mundo sin intenciones ocultas y además así debe ser. Si en el juego se gana dinero, está claro que para mantener esa economía funcionando debes poner algo de tu dinero inicialmente además de tu tiempo de juego.
Para poder comenzar a jugar necesitas al menos 3 Axies, los personajes del juego y con los que te enfrentas a los contrarios. Dichos Axies cuestan dinero real, ya que son vendidos por otros jugadores en un mercado de oferta y demanda. Varían de precio en dependencia de sus características y posibilidades en la batalla. Y además no son baratos, un equipo básico no cuesta menos de 500 dólares americanos aproximadamente (pagados en ETH).
Fortunately, the mechanics of the game allow, to put it simply, a person to rent their equipment to you if you don't have the money to buy your own. The "Scholarship", which is how this modality is called, is that you play with the account and team of another person, but you only earn a percentage of the profits you generate (by mutual agreement).
It is profit for both. The Manager is generating returns for his investment without spending time and effort playing the game himself. On the other hand, the grantee generates lower earnings, but without having to put his own money.
My adventure in Axie Infinity
I had been learning about the game and trying to get started for over a month now and had some money that I was hoping to withdraw from an investment. But it has not been possible for me to withdraw that money that I was planning to use to buy my own team. So in the meantime, I got an acquaintance's manager to assign me a scholarship.
The scholarship is not that good to tell the truth. The team is not bad and it plays well, but my earnings are only 25%, which is very low. But all those who give scholarships in my country give them to that percentage, there is no other way. So until I get my own team, or another scholarship with a better percentage, I'll play around with this one.

Afortunadamente la mecánica del juego permite que, por decirlo de forma sencilla, una persona te alquile su equipo si tú no tienes dinero como para comprarte uno propio. La “Beca”, que es como se llama esta modalidad, es que tu juegas con la cuenta y equipo de otra persona, pero solo cobras un porciento de las ganancias que generes (de mutuo acuerdo).
Es ganancia para los dos. El Manager está generando ganancias para su inversión sin tener que utilizar tiempo y esfuerzo en jugar él mismo. En cambio, el becado genera ganancias menores, pero sin tener que poder dinero propio.
Mi aventura en Axie Infinity
Ya llevaba más de un mes aprendiendo sobre el juego y tratando de comenzar y tenía un dinero que esperaba retirar de una inversión. Pero no me ha sido posible retirar ese dinero que pensaba destinarlo a comprarme un equipo propio. Así que mientras tanto, logré que el manager de un conocido me asignara una beca.
La beca no es tan buena la verdad. El equipo no está mal y se juega bien, pero mis ganancias son al 25% solamente, que es muy bajo. Pero todos los que dan becas en mi país las dan a ese porciento, no hay de otra. Así que hasta que consiga mi propio equipo, u otra beca con mejor porciento, iré jugando con esta.

Yesterday I had my best day without a doubt. 17 victories of the 20 energies and I raised a lot in the ranking. Every day will not be a party of course, but for now I'm happy, hehe.
Ayer tuve mi mejor día sin dudas. 17 victorias de las 20 energías y subí bastante de copas. Todos los días no serán de fiesta claro, pero de momento estoy alegre, jeje.
