I went for a walk around Bugis area, during this evening I focused my street photography along Rochor road. This place is one of the interesting places in Singapore to walk around. The buildings are a combination of old shophouses and tall office buildings. You will meet different people in this place and I can say that this place has an exciting vibe.
There are also many restaurants that serve good quality gourmet food. There is also a wide variety of fast food restaurants in this area so you won't run out of choices when it comes to food.
It's fun to do street photography in this area of Bugis because it's not too crowded. It's a bit difficult to do photography when there are too many people because it's a bit confusing to find a good subject if there are too many people along the street sidewalk.
There was a photo taken that focused on the archway of a sidewalk where people hid behind pillars because they saw me taking a photo. The people here along Rochor road are shy because they don't want to be included in the photo frame.
I took these photos around 7:00 PM but the sky was still quite bright, that's why the quality of the images I made in this photowalk are good.
”One can say that the city itself is the collective memory of its people, and like memory it is associated with objects and places. The city is the locus of the collective memory.”
