Yeah, the whole blockchain thing would have never happened under Tim Crook. But is what it is. I see them focusing more on AI from here as the Apple Silicon is honestly the best thing for consumers to run local models on.
And that's what I have been doing is building my own little AI data center at home with Mac Mini M4 Pro with 64Gb of unified memory as the brain of it all that connects to 2 ubuntu machines. One runs 4 UTXO nodes (BTC, LTC, DOGE, XMR) and mines XMR. The other machine is a dedicated Ethereum layer 1 RPC node that is about to be running some arbitrage and liquidation bots on it. I have given it all the tools I need to be completely local so I do not have to use corporate or public models anymore. It is currently building itself a massive library to get data from on my external drive. It's basically downloading and archiving all the important information on the internet I would need for basically any situation. Training it with RAG, web tools, giving it terminal and file access to the system, and even TradingView charting and pinescript skills and abilities, all without have to 'retrain' the actual model.
