I live in a crowded city. Full of all kinds of buildings, full of cars, full, too full of people. I'm telling you all this so you can understand why any outing in nature is an event for me. The closest and easiest nature I find in my small garden, which is so small only allows me to take care of a few plants that spoil me with their flowers...
This flower, which has a name I like very much, "European columbine" is even more beautiful than its name!
Petunias delight not only with their varied colors but also with an amazing fragrance, especially at night...
More generous nature, but a little further from home I find it in parks. At least I have this compensation, in my city, there are many beautifully landscaped parks.
This time I got much more than a walk in the park. A journey of over 600 km took me to a semi-wild and almost forgotten place. A small village in Transylvania, where my wife grew up.
Now follows an insert that is obviously outside of this contest, but I believe it brings the necessary information for what is to follow.
A walk through my wife's grandparents' old, abandoned garden. I go to see a grave, a hundred years old. In those days people buried the dead in the garden...
The surprise came from the grass... a tiny, fragile flower in a sea of green, a sea of grass. So small I almost didn't notice it. I had to get very close to it to see the beauty!
For me a totally unknown flower. Fortunately, with the help of Google Lens, I found out what it is called: "Muscari comosum" or grape hyacinth! I didn't know it had bulbs. If I had known I would have taken a few to plant in my city garden.
