Just 4 hours ago I gave an answer that I now, in part, regret.
I said that feeling angry about something in this world was not necessary, that we had to be above it... what a stupid... yes, stupid answer if you look at it that way in its lay sense. Then I said that it was better to concentrate on the details so that answers will haunt you. This perhaps sheds some light. But still, that answer is futile.
Let me give you some context.
The girl was talking about injustices, lack of critical thinking, gender inequalities, and how sad she is to see people's inaction in the face of things like getting a job based on beauty and not skills, for example. I would add the fact of seeing how little effort is rewarded and not those who really make an effort. This is why I have come to right my wrong.
If you can't fight the power, fight from you, be noticed, show your position with your presence. Life is what I show in the pictures, wear and tear, fragility, complexity, death, but it is also observance, struggle, compassion, love. It is commitment and fidelity to our principles and to our own heart, where intuition speaks loudest. Every detail counts and feeling anger, sadness and anguish is of little use. That is why we get up every day and take steps towards our own good, which should also be the common good. Maybe in a critical moment, when you feel helpless, taking someone's side with the right words or a hug is the best way to help. This simple act of empathy can stir other hearts to action.
Do not give way to low-frequency emotions, such as anger, rage, sadness. These are the earthly things that certainly hurt us. In that moment calm is powerful and silence will only be the prelude to the best response.
