With this post the first week is done of my April fools challenge on Dyxum.
As i managed yesterday in my post we had a cold night , and when i got in the field this morning after bringing the wife to work again , the first thing i noticed was hoarfrost on grass .
But i needed some more sunlight to capture it on camera.
To give you an idea the first photo is created at 6:59 AM and the last photo at 7:22 AM so thee is a small time windowto get this done.
i'll number the photos again that way if you have questions or sugestions you can easily say about what photo your question or sugestion is .
The area that i went to this morning is the schammer in Holland.
you can see it here on google maps : https://maps.app.goo.gl/TkAj2xXZgdbWiMhJ8
1 ) When i got out of the car the temperture said 0 degrees celcius, the sun still behind the horizon.

2 )But when you put the camera on automatic it looks like daylight already

3 ) Same Daisy this one on Automatic 1/160 f4.5 ISO 2000

4 ) And this one with a little bit flash 1/125 f6.3 ISO 100

5 ) Fog on the water the ducks still sleeping, waiting for the sun to come out. Still to cold for the frogs i guess don't see or hear them yet.

6 ) Hoarfrost on the tall grass

7 ) hoarfrost on dandelion

8 ) sleeping ducks and fog on the water , nature still needs to wake up.

9 ) From the side you can already see the sun rising above the other tree line

10 ) And there it is above the hockeyfields in the distance , on the other side of the water.

11 ) While i make my way back to the car again , the sun is already rising, lighting up the old oak trees on the right.

12 ) And if you take a low angle , you can see the sun shining and the hoarfrost sparkling on the grass. 1/160 f11 ISO 100

13 ) Same angle but camera back on automatic again 1/100 f5.6 ISO 100

14 ) Time to go home and get some hot coffee , to warm up again from this cold.

I hope you have enjoyed my little morning walk on ths cold Tuesday morning here in Holland. The weather forecast has promised us warmer days ahead so nature might develop a lot faster this week, we will see by the end of the week if more trees finally show some signs of leaves.
