Christmas decorations

Since christmas is arround the corner , and it will be the first time we decorate this house for Chrsitmas , we moved in hear last year arround December 20th and didn't have the energy to decorate while we were still unpacking all the moving boxes .

This year we had to find a way to do some decorations without challenging the cat to destroy it .

Lucky for us the cat doesn't really jump on things if it's to high.

1 ) So we decided to use the christmas decoration lights we had somewhat high from the ground .
One string underneath the TV and one string above it all the way back to the kitchen .

2 )guided high above the kitchenb cabinets where the cat doesn't come.

6 )and in front of the big window we hang some plastic christmas decorations aswell .

7 ) one more high behind the couch

8 ) And on the refrigurator door a decoration crafted by my wife on her sewing / embroidery machine that she got for her birthday this year.
She really enjoys working and crafting on that new machine even now that her visability is bad she can still magae to control the machine.

9 ) and a glass vase with papercrafted flowers , we only use plastic decoration balls , they last longer and if the cat somehow manages to reach them , they can't hut the cat when they break down.

10 )And finally the tiny christmas tree at the front door , also plastic decorations only to protect the cat.

11 ) All christmas lights use a smartplug that i can control from within my domotica software Home assistant , so that i can tunr them on or off from my mobile phone where ever I am .
