Good day ,
Time for me to post again in the #photo-essay community ,more garden wildlife today in ultra macro mode ( 2.5x magnification ).
It's my way to start the day go into the garden see what is happening , and try to find living things to take photos of the camera in one hand the coffee in another hand .
Tommorow i will anounce a new contest for the coming week and on Saturday i will post the winners of this weeks #blue-essay contest.
Time for the garden wildlife
This Chrysolina americana - rosemary beetle - Rozemarijngoudhaantje was sitting on a small stone so i picked up the stone and put in the shade so thatthe sunlight wouldn't reflect to much on its metalic shield.
according to wikipedia the Chrysolina americana can reach a length of 5–8 millimetres (0.20–0.31 in) that might give you an idea how small the face is you are looking at right now .

those white spikes on left are grains of sand

and as usual the model starts to move again

it's still alive , and probably heading for my rosemary or lender plants again to feast on them.

Viola flower but.

tiny garden snail sliding over my campanula plants

it looks faster then a sloth ...

Jumping spider , probablly the same one as yesterday I found it in the same area .

Earwig /oorworm hiding between the leafs
