Hello ,
A small gaming review from me instead of the usual photography .
Sometimes you come across a game and get caried away by it .
This time the name of the game is **Windrose **
On April 14th Windrose went to early acces :

What is eraly acces ? Well you can play it but it still has some bugs , and people are still working on it for the final development.
Some of my gaming budies started playing and i thought why not give it a try , so after a couple of days i purchased the early acces game for €29.99 .
Big mistake now i'm hooked 🏴☠️

1 ) There is a whole character creation section but , if you are going to play it you will find out , no need to spoil everything .
2 ) As soon as you click PLAY you get this screen.
3 ) I often select host a game , that way i have the server to myself when i start building things . We found out the hardway that you can actualy destroy other peoples buildings , and also use their storage , unless it's on your ship.
4 )And as soon as you join the server the loading screen appears .. this can take some time ..... even on a fast connection like i have ( 1 Gbps )
5 ) If you press TAB you will see your inventory , your current gear and everything in your back pack
6 ) The further you get into the game the more materials and plans you will find to build things .
These are some plans to build crafting areas that you will need to make other items .
7 ) But you can also build your own buildings , in any design you like until .. it's no longer stable . Found that out last night the hard way making small changes to a tall building and the it colapsed .
8 ) There all kinds of differend items you can use to create your own building, to give it a unique look and feel.
9 ) But as with most of these games once you start building , you run out of resources. You will have to either mine stone, collect wood or clay to continue building your building.
And while doing that you always run in to things that try to kill you in the process . like this goat , but there are also some crazy wolves running arround and other creatures.
10 ) But let's not forget it's a pirate game and pirates need ships .
No matter where you walk on the beach you can always call your ship / boat once you have discoverd it and build it.
11 )And since you are a pirate amongst pirates you will need to arm your ship to survive.
12 ) The best part is that each server has it's own map layout, if i join another server tomorrow i will still have my ships and their cargo but also my weapons and gear plus everythin else i have in my current inventory.
I have tested this out already and it still works not sure if it's intentional or not.
13 ) Another good thing is that i can add unlimited markers on the map that are not visible to others but it helps me to find my mining spots back in the game. There are some vast travel points that you can add to the map , there is a limitation but you can always change position of them.
14 ) Sailing across the ocean , battle with other ships , improve your ships , discover new islands time flies on the sea.
15 ) On the map they look like small islands but, walking from coast to coast on a small island seaching for materials can be tricky with wolves, swine , goats , crocks , and other animals chasing you .
16 ) If you like your guns above swords like me you will need a lot of mining to stay in business , like sulfur .
17 ) But you will also need Iron for your bullets and to build canons for your ship.
18 ) But you also want to grind plants for food or potions .
19 ) After all we also have some quests to complete , and completing quests is the only thing that gives XP to level up.
20 ) As you can see i used all my talent points in ranged DPS for now
21 ) So far the game feels realy good , best part is no fall damage , so while you are building just jump down no matter the hight . So far i've managed to build 8 ships still trying to find out what the limit is on that.
22 ) And if you don't like pirates well you also get to kill some kind of zombies.
23 ) For an early acces game there is plenty of things to do and more to come . Most plants you pick in the wild have a chance tp drop seeds that you can grow again near your own house , same goes for some of the trees . There is also the option to fish once you have discoverd iron .
o well if you are going to play this i hope you have the same posictive experience as i did .
