The life of a full time student begins again a month ago whereas nothing could delay it anymore. Although different activities from within the department or by the whole college comes in the way, the daily classes, assignments, reportings, subject activities and practicums will still continue. Time flies faster when you couldn't keep track of it. Months feel like days, and the midterm exams for the first semester are fast approaching. If we only could execute a program for it to hold back so we can prepare properly, but no one has the power to keep the deadlines away unless the Admins would say so.
So here we are, making the most out of our free time to have fun with each other. We tried the house tour before getting busy with our OJT, but we haven't visited each other's houses until now. What's left is mine and 's, and maybe we'll complete the task next year when we have more vacant time.
Even so, we tried to make it more productive by discussing things that could benefit the whole group. Most of them struggles financially like me, so I'm mostly convincing them to get active on Hive again. In our current state, finding a part time job isn't a feasible solution because it will cause conflicts on our schedule.
Better utilize the current resources than doing nothing at all to lessen the given problem. Here we are the following day, helping our friend on creating her account on Hive and guiding her on composing her introduction post. Another hiver that dived in the platform,
should have been with us here but he was busy in his other extra-curricular activities, so I'm only updating him through messages. Gladly, everything worked out well for them. So, my warmest welcome for the both of you. I hope they can also enjoy blogging here just like I do.
It's a kind of practice for us also to practice our writing skills, because lots of reports, letters, and emails are coming soon. We need to do few hours of encoding a day with minimum supervision, so having prior knowledge with these kind of skill is a must. Just like me here, I can write with ease when the writing style is more personal but when it comes to an academic writing, I struggle writing even a paragraph to express all of my ideas.
So when you're a student but you have to do you're side hustles as well, then you must be as flexible as you can to fit all the work in a day without compromising your health from the lack of sleep and missed meals. It's not all the time that we could have a break time to have our meals because sometimes we were given a 12-hour straight classes in a day, from 8 am to 8 pm straight literally. And if we're given time to have our lunch or snacks first before the class starts, we'll be forever grateful to that Professor.
Just another update from my busy student life. Thanks for reading!
