A moment I would not forget// When I toped up in a class.
Hello hello people 🖐️🖐️
I'm glad and so happy to be member of this amazing community where students can express their thoughts and ideas, I recently discovered about this beautiful community and I was so glad about it.
Regarding the prompt for the week, I will be sharing about an incident that got me so happy 😊 ND it's something I won't forget Easley even though I know there would be grater incident such as that in the feature.
Thai incident happened while I was in highschool, at first when I entered highschool, I was this quiet person and that quietness made me go backwards in my academic, but along the line I discovered that I could be very knowledgeable and brilliant if I strive harder, so I started the strive and I saw the results.
When I entered the senior class things became more difficult and I had to strive harder, at that point, I discovered that I loved maths and chemistry so I developed myself in that area but there were some other students that were more brilliant than I was so they wee more a blockage to.me.
Even though I was a quiet person, I still knew that I had something upstairs, at the beginning I was a bit backward but as I proceeded I became challenged and started going up.
While I senior class, we started preparing for our WEAC and at the cause of the preparation we frequently had to be tested to see if we had any progress, most of the test we wrote were not difficult to solve for me though I wasn't the student with the highest score but after a few tests, I became the student with the highest score and I started toping the class, I remembered when one of my colleagues went to bring the test scripts, while coming back she looked at me and told me that "so you've finally toped the class", hehe it was looking funny but I has super excited.
After then, I discovered that I don't have to be the highest student in the class, I just have to be myself and develop myself.
Another event that I could not forget easily was when I answered an English question and the teacher rewarded me in naira, in cash so instead of the normal clapping this time she gave me some money, the reason I didn't forget this easily was because I wanted it to happen again but you know one thing with Nigerian teacher, such reward would only come once.
