Good day, Readers! What are your plans for today? I hope you had a wonderful Thursday and that you had a wonderful Friday.
We will never truly forget our school days because they were such an important part of our lives.
School days were the most exciting part of our lives because we had no responsibilities other than passing exams and graduating.
Most of us had our first high school experiences, such as first friends, first relationships, break-ups, and so on, but there are many other reasons why school life is so exciting.
During these times, we would go to our friends' houses and hang out until the sun went down, only to return home and be beaten to death by our parents.
In short, those times were so enjoyable that I sometimes wish I could go back and relive some of the events, and there is one event in particular that I wish to relive, and I pray every day that one day I will be able to do so; I would be overjoyed if I could.
My high school life was relatively routine, and even though things got crazy at times, I would say it was a fairly enjoyable high school experience, and I thoroughly enjoyed that period of my life.
Some odd incidents occurred at my school that I recall, but in today's article, I'll only mention two of them; I hope you enjoy the article.
The School Robbery Incident
I never expected this to happen at my school because the area was not even dangerous.
It was a quiet residential neighborhood where no crime was ever committed.
We were shocked to hear gunshots while we were in class, and we immediately collapsed because many windows had been shattered and bullets were flying everywhere.
When the seniors and teachers began chasing the robbers away, they stopped shooting.
No one was killed by the bullets, but some people were injured and had to be taken to the hospital because they were losing a lot of blood.
It was terrifying to see your classmates' blood splattered on the floor, and it was even more terrifying to be so close to death, but we were all fortunate to survive.
That experience stayed with me because it taught me how quickly and easily our lives can end and how truly precious life is.
When you are near death, you begin to appreciate the life you have been given, and I began to understand this.
We later learned that the robbers followed our proprietress from her bank after noticing she had withdrawn a large sum of money; I assume they wanted the money and followed her to the school.
I'm glad we got through it without losing anyone because I don't think anyone would have been happy if someone had died that day.
TikTok Incident (Class Incident)
Unlike the robbery, this incident had no physical impact on the school, but it did have an impact on its image.
Tiktok has been the craze in recent years, and many people have become so obsessed with "TikTok fame" that they are willing to do anything to become famous, but this incident isn't about fame; I would call it an act of vengeance.
As I previously stated, high school is when everyone experiences their first everything, such as relationships and break-ups, which led to this incident.
My class was summoned to the principal's office three weeks before the school's exams because of a specific video that surfaced on "TikTok," and the principal wanted to question us about it.
I didn't know why she summoned us to her office, but I knew it was never for a good reason, and it meant you were about to see hell, which I never wanted to see.
She told us about a video but didn't say what it was about, so some of us had no idea what she was talking about.
She tells us to leave, but we find out what she was talking about the next day.
The entire school saw a video on their phone of my classmate having an intimate session with her boyfriend, who was in a lower class. I couldn't believe what I was seeing, but it was confirmed when the principal called us.
Everyone is summoned to the principal's office once more, but this time she only talks with the girls about the problem because, for some reason, most of the girls were watching her do it in the video.
I didn't care about the incident because, in a normal scenario, it shouldn't have affected me, but it did.
The principal blamed the boys because "we weren't there to guide them."
I couldn't understand what she was saying because, in a normal situation, she shouldn't be blaming us, but she did and even threatened us with a week's suspension and beatings.
Our college exams were only three weeks away. I couldn't afford suspension, so I had to involve my parents in the situation, and they could handle it.
We later learn that the video was released by a classmate who was jealous of the girl and wanted to make her pay for having a boyfriend.
It was a strange incident because it all happened because of jealousy; can you imagine that?
Wouldn't it have been better if she had talked it out with the other person instead of involving the entire class?
I'm not sure why some people enjoy bringing others down.
Thank you.
