School stress is just too much sometimes, especially when your lecturers do not understand your language of tiredness. There are some lecturers who don't care about your feelings. Either you assimilate or not, all they want to do is teach you, and that's all.
There are times we overstay our period for a particular class. They don't care if you overstay; all they want is that you attend their classes. Most times, they forget we have our own personal lives to live. I've got a lecturer who likes to use double periods of our time. He knows we cannot do anything. And of course, what can we do since we are just five in number?
Well, it's high time for us to travel home for our festival period. I will not forget that year, 2021. Normally, schools are closed on the 21st, so everyone will be able to travel to their destinations. All the lecturers have released us even before the 21st so we can enjoy our stay with the family because, honestly, the holidays are not much like that.
But this particular lecturer refused to release us for the holidays. We were the only students still going to class. All the other departmental students have traveled.
This man delayed us until the 23rd of that year. Well, everyone was so angry, so to tell him, we are also angry. He told us to resume the first week of January. We all say okay.
After we left his office, we all had a meeting and promised to come back at the end of January. If he doesn't see anyone, I wonder who he will teach. We were so upset about the delay.
We all traveled home and enjoyed the festival period with our family. Because we have missed them so much, we will resume at the end of January. Gotten to school, he got so mad at us and promised not to teach us again, but either way, the deed has already been done.
