Different colors have different connotations and what they represent. For gray color, it's often associated with calmness, serenity, luxury. It can also represent stability, professionalism, including boredom or monotony, especially as gray often appears dull.
Not only that, gray as a timeless color is often associated with elegance and sophistication, refinement and age. As we know, gray or grey color is often associated with old age, particularly as it relates to hair. Gray hair comes with old age, although there are some individuals who are naturally endowed with gray hair.
More so, gray color can represent loss, grief or mourning, in some cultures.
Sometimes, gray color can represent unclear or uncertain situations, especially it comes to weather. The gray sky, which is the aftermath of the gathering clouds, might mean rain is on the way, or it could just bring cooler temperatures or even a mysterious mood. Either way, the gray skies often leaves us in a state of wonder.
