Playing photographer in my garden πΈπ·
Hi guys so, like i always say, I'm not a photographer at ALL, I actually suck pretty much at it, but I do like taking pics of pretty flowers, I have notice is the best thing I can capture with my phone cause all the other things I just don't really know how to take pictures of.
I have also told you that my mother-in-law is a flower fanatic and even if is weed that is growing out a flower she will not cut it cause they look pretty so, we have a lot of them all around the house, making my photography practices much easier lol especially when they are all blooming and being pretty.
Finding out the name of the flowers
Like with photography, I'm not flower expert I just know I like to take pictures of them, Mr google recommended the PlantNet app you find it here for Android and iOS you can upload or take directly with the app a picture of a flower, leaf or anyhting plant related and it will tell you the name of it.
In this case the name of my beautiful flowers according to the app is
Zinnia Peruviana
But here is the thing according to my mother in law (the flower expert) she says they are call the Forty Flower or Cuarentona cause the flower last at least 40 days, I tried googling the name and apparently not a lot info shows up for that name so i think is mostly known like that locally in my country.
One thing is for sure this is a flower from the Zinnia family, is it the peruviana? I don't know that wikipedia page doesn't talk about how long the flower last so WHO KNOWS if is the same, I'm sticking to my mother in law knowladge of it and calling it
Cuarentona
We have it in two different colors (red and yellow) in the house but my mother in law and the app say it comes in a lot more. I have to say the red ones look prettier cause they look fuller somehow the yellow ones were weak or something I don't it didn't had as much petals as the red one that is for sure.
