I'm an impulse buyer. I will research and read reviews but once something hits my radar it's a matter time, short time, before I buy it. And right now, the cookie algorithms have been plying my inbox and web browsing with the reMarkable notepad and I'm intrigued.
It's suppose to feel like real paper that you write on and turns your creations into digital files. But I'm not sure I'd use it to it's full capacity since I only want to use it for business journal tracking/planning.
And it's more than I'd like to spend on myself right before Christmas. The tablet is $299, the pen is $129, and the cover is $169 = $547 for the bundle pricing.
It looks cool and could be the answer to the business journal concern I had about wanting something tactile and being able to search my journal entries by topic or keyword.
Anyway, I'm concerned for my wallet. The only thing keeping me from a serious consideration is the time of year (Christmas) and that I haven't played with one yet. So, I'm safe...this month.
Please leave a comment if you've used one of these and your thoughts on replacing your paper journal with it, but not until January.
