Holiday Fun
Yesterday was Thanksgiving and for me that meant spending the day cooking, feasting (a lot) on a meal fit for a holiday of thanks. It also meant relaxing, watching football, and a fun action adventure movie (Red Notice) with my sons. There was laughter. Lots of it.
Journal Writing Attempt
And so last night when I pulled out my journal to write (for the fourth day in row) I got as far as, "Happy Thanksgiving!" and then started to doze off.
Tea Time
My youngest son came into my room to chat and then we made some hot tea. Oldest son joined us and we sat in the living room chit chatting until we all felt sleepy and headed to our rooms. I never picked my journal back up. So, while I did write two words in my journal, I didn't have much to say other than holiday greeting. Which I will say still counts.
Here is a picture of last night's tea of choice. Added in a dollop of some local honey and it was a cozy end to the holiday.
*EDIT NOTE: I incorrectly titled this as post 19 when in fact it was post 20. I have corrected that in the title, but the url will still show original title. *
