Another day of journaling. I think I'm beginning to understand that these moments I put pen to paper to write can be about the mundane. For whatever reason I was thinking of journaling as deep thoughts and epic moments in time.
I've always thought that daily life type of writing was more along the lines of a diary. If the mundane things that happen on any given day can be written in a journal, then it would stand to reason that perhaps a diary could be a journal and a journal could a diary. Is it just a matter of deciding which word (diary or journal) you use depending on how you choose to look at it?
I'm curious what your take is on this observation. Can a diary be a journal or a journal be a diary? Are they the same or vastly different and in what ways?
