An essential clarification
First of all, I need to clarify my lack of knowledge in several topics about New Information and Communication Technologies, Web 3, Blockchain, NFT, virtual currency and so many other topics that appear in the public arena, as part of the accelerated development of Computer Science.
But, the above does not prevent me from addressing a topic that is currently under strong debate in the intellectual and scientific community of the world and in which this author wants to participate by giving his modest opinion and leaving his opinion on which side of the scale his thinking leans.
For this reason, in this publication the author will deal with the subject of Artificial Intelligence, its usefulness or not, whether it is capable of substituting the work of man and will give his considerations, from an ethical point of view, of something that, for some is something harmful, while for others it is the panacea for all our problems or that it is capable of solving by itself all the problems and questions that the scientific community and the global community have.
Questions for debate
There are several questions we could ask ourselves in this regard that would help us understand the scope of this debate. For example:
What is Artificial Intelligence?
When did it emerge?
When did it reach its peak?
Many other questions could be asked, but let's start with these.
Artificial Intelligence, origins, emergence and something more
According to Wikipedia Artificial intelligence (AI), in the context of computer science, is a discipline and a set of cognitive and intellectual capabilities expressed by computer systems or combinations of algorithms whose purpose is the creation of machines that mimic human intelligence to perform tasks, and that can improve as they gather information.
According to this encyclopedia, AI emerged after the end of World War II and, as far as we can appreciate in its broadest concept, it has favorable purposes for human intelligence.
The question then arises:
man is the key
Can we do without AI, is it detrimental or favorable?
Why the debate of Artificial Intelligence versus Natural Intelligence?
Can a machine replace human capabilities?
Can machines come to replace us and drive the destinies of our jobs and humanity?
What is more beneficial: AI or Natural Intelligence?
According to this author, here are some of the questions that will allow us to have a clearer idea about this debate that has occupied important personalities in the world of technologies such as Bill Gates and Elon Musk.
I believe that today's world cannot do without the development of Artificial Intelligence, as it could not do without, at the time, the cell phone or the computer because its proper use produces positive results, in less time, can help to promote processes in different fields of society such as technology, medicine, science, culture, sports and many more fields, because, as the concept graphs is a set of cognitive abilities.
But, I think the fear is because we may think that it can replace us, do our jobs and live our lives for us. I think that those who live this dilemma forget some important elements:
- Artificial Intelligence cannot replace Natural or Human Intelligence because it is part of it and was created by man.
- The easiest way to define AI is that it is a Software and without man it is destined to fail.
- It is true that it can generate unsuspected problems, but it will never be AI the cause, it will be man himself who in his eagerness to do evil and enrich himself can resort to negative methods to achieve his goals. In this sense, let's not forget that computer programs have been infected by malicious viruses and that hackers are there to try to distort technological objectives.
- I think that one of the essential elements that we forget in this debate is that AI has no feelings or thought of its own. For example, if you want to make a girl fall in love and you ask the AI to write a love text, it may be "PERFECT", but it will never be like the one of the being in love because it speaks from love and feelings and that cannot be imitated or copied by anyone who does not have them.
A final comment
Just as it has happened with several advances in Science and Technology that at the time have been the object of rejection and denial by a part of humans, the same has happened with Artificial Intelligence and perhaps this is based on the negative use that has been made of it, but this author reiterates that man will always be responsible, as is the case with computers that are infected by malicious viruses or computer programs that are hacked.
We must take advantage of the positive experiences and benefits of AI and put them at the service of humanity. This would make an important part of the problems that plague the world begin to have more immediate answers or solutions. A little more than 20 days ago I heard that a group of Canadian and American scientists found or advanced in a protocol against cancer using Artificial Intelligence. That's what it's all about.

Una aclaración imprescindible
Ante todo, necesito aclarar mi desconocimiento en varios temas sobre las Nuevas Tecnologías de la Informática y las Comunicaciones, Web 3, Blockchain, NFT, moneda virtual y tantos y tantos temas que aparecen en la palestra pública, como parte del desarrollo acelerado de las Ciencias Informáticas.
Pero, lo anterior no me impide abordar un tema que en estos momentos tiene un fuerte debate en la comunidad intelectual y científica del mundo y en el cual este autor quiere participar dando su modesta opinión y dejando por su sentado hacia qué lado de la balanza se inclina su pensamiento.
Por tal razón, en esta publicación el autor tratará un tema en torno a la Inteligencia Artificial, su utilidad o no, si es capaz de sustituir el trabajo del hombre y emitirá sus consideraciones, desde la ética, de algo que, para algunos es algo perjudicial, mientras para otros es la panacea para todos nuestros problemas o que es capaz de solucionar por sí sola todas las problemáticas e interrogantes que tienen la comunidad científica y la comunidad global.

¿Qué es la Inteligencia Artificial?
¿Cuándo surgió?
¿Cuándo alcanzó su máximo desarrollo?
Otras muchas preguntas pudieran hacerse, pero, comencemos por estas.
Inteligencia Artificial, orígenes, surgimiento y algo más
Según Wikipedia La inteligencia artificial (IA), en el contexto de las ciencias de la computación, es una disciplina y un conjunto de capacidades cognoscitivas e intelectuales expresadas por sistemas informáticos o combinaciones de algoritmos cuyo propósito es la creación de máquinas que imiten la inteligencia humana para realizar tareas, y que pueden mejorar conforme recopilan información.
Según esta propia enciclopedia la IA surgió después de finalizada la segunda Guerra Mundial y por lo que podemos apreciar en su concepto más amplio tiene propósitos favorables para la inteligencia humana.
Entonces cabría preguntarse:

¿Podemos prescindir de la IA?, ¿Es perjudicial o favorable?
¿Por qué el debate de la Inteligencia Artificial contra la Inteligencia Natural?
¿Puede una máquina sustituir las capacidades humanas?
¿Pueden las máquinas llegar a sustituirnos y conducir los destinos de nuestros trabajos y de la humanidad?
¿Qué es más beneficioso: ¿La IA o la Inteligencia Natural?
A juicio de este autor aquí están parte de las interrogantes que nos permitirán una idea más clara en torno a este debate que ha ocupado a personalidades importantes dentro del mundo de las tecnologías como Bill Gates y Elon Musk.
Considero que el mundo actual no puede prescindir del desarrollo de la Inteligencia Artificial, como no pudo prescindir, en su momento, del teléfono celular o la computadora porque su utilización adecuada produce resultados positivos, en menos tiempo, puede ayudar a favorecer procesos en diferentes campos de la sociedad como las tecnologías, la medicina, la ciencia, la cultura, el deporte y muchísimos campos más, pues, como el concepto grafica es un conjunto de capacidades cognitivas.
Pero, pienso que el miedo es porque podamos pensar que puede sustituirnos, hacer nuestros trabajos y vivir la vida por nosotros. Pienso que los que viven este dilema olvidan algunos elementos importantes:
•La Inteligencia Artificial no puede sustituir a la Inteligencia Natural o humana porque forma parte de ella y fue creada por el hombre
•La manera más fácil de definir la IA es que es un Software y sin el hombre está destinada a fracasar
•Es cierto que puede generar problemas insospechados, pero nunca será la IA la causante, será el propio hombre que en su afán por hacer el mal y enriquecerse puede acudir a métodos negativos para alcanzar sus objetivos. En tal sentido, no olvidemos que a los programas de computación le salieron los virus malignos y que están los hackers, para tratar de desvirtuar los objetivos tecnológicos.
•Pienso que uno de los elementos esenciales que olvidamos en este debate es que la IA no tiene sentimientos ni pensamiento propio. Por ejemplo, si usted desea enamorar a una chica y le pide a la inteligencia Artificial que le redacte un texto de amor puede que quede "PERFECTO", pero nunca quedará como el del ser enamorado porque esta habla desde el amor y los sentimientos y eso no lo puede imitar ni copiar nadie que no los tenga.

Un comentario final
Al igual que ha pasado con varios adelantos de la Ciencia y la Técnica que en su momento han sido objeto de rechazo y negación por una parte de los humanos igual ha ocurrido con la Inteligencia Artificial y quizás esto se base en la utilización negativa que se ha hecho de ella, pero reitera este autor que siempre será el hombre el responsable, como lo es de las computadoras que son infectadas por virus malignos o de programas informáticos que son hackeados.
De la IA debemos aprovechar sus experiencias positivas y sus bondades y ponerlas al servicio de la humanidad. Esto lograría que una parte importante de los problemas que azotan al mundo empiecen a tener respuestas o soluciones más inmediatas. Hace algo más de 20 días escuché que un grupo de científicos canadienses y estadounidenses encontraron o avanzaron en un protocolo contra el cáncer utilizando la Inteligencia Artificial. De eso se trata.
