Hola amigos de esta bonita comunidad! Yo estoy aquí presente de nuevo el día de hoy, para mostrarles está bonita experiencia que tuve hace poco en la graduación de uno de mis últimos alumnos en mis clases de zancos, yo soy instructor de zancos, así casi ya un año, y ha sido maravilloso compartir con diferentes personas sus maneras de aprender este maravilloso arte, que déjenme decir que no es tan fácil que digamos, pero que con disciplina y con mucha constancia se puede obtener un gran resultado.
Hello, friends of this wonderful community! I’m here again today to share with you a wonderful experience I had recently at the graduation ceremony for one of my latest students in my stilt-walking classes. I’ve been a stilt instructor for almost a year now, and it’s been wonderful to share with different people their ways of learning this wonderful art—which, let me tell you, isn’t as easy as it sounds, but with discipline and a lot of perseverance, you can achieve great results.
Siempre al final de que mis alumnos cumplen con ciertos requisitos estando en zancos, significa que ya están preparados para su graduación qué se realiza en la playa por su máxima dificultad con los obstáculos, sí se logra pasar todo eso es porque pueden con todo estando en zancos, he de añadir que esta graduación se realiza en la playa de san Luis que queda ubicada en la ciudad de cumaná estado sucre.
Once my students have met certain requirements while on stilts, it means they are ready for their graduation ceremony, which takes place on the beach due to the high level of difficulty posed by the obstacles. If they manage to get through all of that, it’s because they can handle anything while on stilts. I should add that this graduation ceremony is held on San Luis Beach, located in the city of Cumaná, Sucre State.
Mi querido alumno José, desde el día uno se presentó con grandes cualidades para ser un buen zanquero, solo le hacía falta pulir muchas de esas cosas y tener mucha más práctica para poder cumplir con ese resultado, tuvimos 3 meses de preparación, dónde le enseñe muchos trucos y técnica para poder enfrentar cualquier inconveniente que tuviera estando montado en zancos, pero aún asi me dió a demostrar lo que siempre supe, que sería muy bueno y cumplió está graduación con muchísimo éxito.
My dear student José, from day one you showed great potential to become a skilled stilt walker; you just needed to refine many of those skills and get a lot more practice to achieve that result. We had three months of preparation, during which I taught him many tricks and techniques to handle any challenges he might face while on stilts. Even so, he proved what I always knew—that he would be very good and he passed this graduation with flying colors.
Estoy bastante feliz de culminar mis clases con este asombroso chico, y estoy muy orgulloso de mí, ya qué nunca me había visto como un instructor o profesor se podría decir, de alguna cosa y el hecho de qué lo hiciera, me hace saber que tengo muchas cualidades escondidas pero que admiro descubrir en cada ocasión qué se me presenta, gracias por estar una vez más conmigo en una nueva aventura y nos vemos en la próxima.
I’m really happy to be wrapping up my classes with this amazing guy, and I’m very proud of myself, since I’d never really seen myself as an instructor or teacher—so to speak—of anything, and the fact that I did it makes me realize I have many hidden talents that I look forward to discovering every time a new opportunity comes my way.
