Saludos a toda mi gente de ESPAVLOG y del ecosistema de HIVE en general. En esta ocasión he preparado un interesante video en el que recorro el casco histórico de la ciudad de Coro, estado Falcón, si gente linda la ciudad que me vio nacer, y no podía deja de hacer este recorrido aprovechando la visita por mi tierra Venezuela. Con el apoyo del pana 
en las cámaras, iniciamos por la calle Comercio de Coro, mostrando la Iglesia de San Gabriel, una iglesia que me trae bonitos recuerdos, ya desde niño asistía allí a la eucaristía:

Greetings to all my people of ESPAVLOG and the HIVE ecosystem in general. This time I have prepared an interesting video in which I go through the historic center of the city of Coro, Falcon state, yes beautiful people, the city where I was born, and I could not fail to make this tour taking advantage of the visit to my homeland Venezuela. With the support of the pana in the cameras, we started on the street Comercio de Coro, showing the Church of San Gabriel, a church that brings me beautiful memories, and as a child I attended the Eucharist there:

Vale destacar que la hermosa ciudad de Coro fue decretada en el año de 1993 Patrimonio Cultural de la Humanidad por la UNESCO, una gran mención sin lugar a dudas.

Y en este recorrido por el casco histórico llegué a la Cruz de San Clemente, una cruz hecha con cují y que representa una especie de pacto entre españoles a la cabeza de Juan de Ampíes y Caquetíos liderados por el Cacique Manaure, para la fecha del 26 de julio de 1527, fecha a la que se atribuye la fundación de la ciudad.
And in this tour through the historic center I arrived at the Cross of San Clemente, a cross made with cují and representing a kind of pact between Spaniards led by Juan de Ampíes and Caquetíos led by Cacique Manaure, for the date of July 26, 1527, date to which is attributed the founding of the city.

Pese al pacto de paz que representaba esta cruz, la ciudad de Coro fue testigo de invasiones por parte de alemanes, muchas guerras ocurrieron, pero la cruz de San Clemente siempre permaneció allí. Es interesante que en el año de 1866 el entonces presidente Juan Crisóstomo Falcón le da la acogida de monumento histórico. Otro dato curioso de esta cruz, es que la madera que la constituye es de “Cují” , un árbol típico de la zona, y cuenta la historia que de donde se extrajo esta madera, allí se ofició la primera misa en tierra firme de Latinoamérica, y cerca de donde ocurrió tan importante evento, años después se construye la iglesia de San Clemente.
In spite of the peace pact that this cross represented, the city of Coro witnessed invasions by Germans, many wars occurred, but the cross of San Clemente always remained there. It is interesting that in 1866 the then president Juan Crisóstomo Falcón gave it the status of historical monument. Another curious fact about this cross is that the wood that constitutes it is from "Cují", a typical tree of the area. A typical tree of the area, and the story goes that from where this wood was extracted, the first mass was celebrated there on the mainland of Latin America, and near where such an important event took place, years later the church of San Clemente was built.
Es realmente fascinante como este monumento en conjunto con la cruz, encierra muchas explicaciones de la fundación de la ciudad. Desde acá un gran saludo a todos los historiadores de la zona, que con esmero y perseverancia documentan estos hechos.
It is really fascinating how this monument, together with the cross, contains many explanations of the founding of the city. From here a big greeting to all the historians of the area, who with care and perseverance document these facts.

Sin lugar a dudas que recorrer el casco histórico de la ciudad de Coro es una experiencia bastante amena y que encierra mucha historia. Es una lástima que el turismo por la zona esté prácticamente muerto, esperemos con el pasar de los años se reactive, y los más importante que se conserven todas estructuras de la antigüedad. Espero se hayan disfrutado de esta publicación, preparada con mucho amor para toda la gente que hace vida del ecosistema de HIVE, será hasta una próxima oportunidad.
Undoubtedly, touring the historic center of the city of Coro is a very pleasant experience that holds a lot of history. It is a pity that tourism in the area is practically dead, hopefully with the passing of the years it will be reactivated, and the most important thing is that all structures of antiquity are preserved.
