Every person on Hive who promotes Hive finds themselves in the same situation. We are a crypto and a blockchain and we are competing against those with giant budgets. One million is nothing to them. But somehow, our ecosystem, which was almost destroyed by a type of attack that could bring down a major corporation, keeps surviving. But it's all very, very hard.

One issue that you noticed is that there is a lot of paranoia among Hive organizers. This is because of the stress. What all organizers are trying to achieve is incredibly difficult, looking for investors, integrations, partnerships, and businesses to use Hive.
Manuel couldn't keep the promises he wanted. He always asks for support for the athletes, but SWC is a promotional activity, and I can't approve many proposed budgets. I wish there was another way to help everyone aside from through promoting Hive. I'm an old guy and even my hands shake when I figure just maybe we'll finally be able to succeed and do well enough, or even if I manage to get some sort of a sizable investment and at least curate properly. But in reality we are always in an uphill battle and we are gaining ground one foot at a time.
Conferences: the speakers are under a lot of pressure. They do many hours of work outside of the presentations and most already know how things go and how to speak about Hive, which is why we typically see the same people presenting. The speakers are also the people who follow up for partnerships. This is all unpaid work.
I watched about a quarter of the video but my connection here isn't great. I'll finish it up later in the night and reply with the remainder.
