Tempo fa ho visitato un borgo bellissimo in Puglia: Locorotondo.
Essendo uno storico dell'Arte cerco di visitare più chiese possibili perchè costituiscono dei veri e propri musei gratuiti.
In questa piccola chiesetta detta "Chiesa della Madonna Greca" ho osservato diverse statue ed in particolare questa che dovrebbe raffigurare il Barone di Locorotondo Loffredo.
Questo manufatto dovrebbe risalire, secondo alcune fonti, attorno al 1500 anno in cui Loffredo aveva la città in feudo.
Mi piaceva la posizione e lo sfondo così ho provato a farne un ritratto in bianco e nero.

Some time ago I visited a beautiful village in Puglia (Italy): Locorotondo.
Being an art historian I try to visit as many churches as possible because they are real free museums.
In this small church called "Church of the Greek Madonna" I observed several statues and in particular this one which should represent the Baron of Locorotondo Loffredo.
According to some sources, this artifact should date back to around 1500, the year in which Loffredo had the city as a feud.
I liked the location and the background so I tried to make a portrait of it in black and white.
