Two Legendary Cards in a Single Gladius Pack! More Gladiators Join My Ranks
The Gladiators cards of the Gladius set are among the most fearsome cards in all of Splinterlands. Thanks to their bloodlust ability, which they all feature, their strength in battle increases with each elimination, and their presence is often enough to provide a critical and crucial advantage, especially when the clash is between creatures of not too high level.
Deploying these cards is not always easy, however, because you can only do it when at least one of these conditions is met
- you choose a Summoner who has the conscript ability
- the ruleset Are you not entertained? is present
- you are playing a brawl
If any of these conditions are met, you can field one card from the Gladius set - one for each of these conditions - so the maximum number of Gladiators you can deploy is 3, while you might not be able to deploy even 1 if none of these conditions are true.
Also, since they are Soulbound cards, the only way to unlock them is by getting merits points and spending them in buying packs in our Guild store.
Each pack guarantees to find 5 cards, at least 1 of which is rare, but if we are lucky we might also find one of the powerful epic or legendary cards.
If we are particularly lucky we might even find several legendary cards in one pack, as it happened to me just a couple of days ago!

My Gladiators
Opening Gladius packs allows you to find all the Gladiators that make up this set, although making progress, unless you manage to get really, really many, many merits points, is a slow job and requires a lot of patience.
I am therefore particularly proud of my collection, which over time has come to rely on all the cards that make up this set - with the notable exception of one legendary card that continues to elude me....
As for common, rare and epic, I now own the complete collection of Gladiators and I am now slowly increasing their level:

Epics
Legendaries
The card I'm most proud of is of course the very powerful Quora Towershead, which at level 3 also acquired the immunity ability, becoming almost unstoppable!
With time I hope to find the last card I'm missing as well and to be able to level up many of these cards a bit more :)

Due Carte Leggendarie in un Singolo Pacchetto Gladius! Nuovi Gladiatori si Aggiungono alla mia Squadra
Le carte Gladiators del set Gladius sono tra le carte più temibili di tutto Splinterlands: grazie all'abilità bloodlust, di cui sono tutte dotate, la loro forza in battaglia aumenta ad ogni eliminazione effettuata e la loro presenza è spesso sufficiente a fornire un vantaggio fondamentale e cruciale, soprattutto quando lo scontro vede affrontarsi creature di livello non troppo alto.
Schierare queste carte non è però sempre facile, perchè è possibile farlo solo quando ricorra almeno una di queste condizioni:
- si sceglie un Evocatore che abbia l'abilità conscript
- è presente il ruleset Are you not entertained?
- si sta disputando una brawl
Il ricorrere di ciascuna di queste condizioni consente infatti di schierare una carta del set Gladius - una per ognuna di queste condizioni - per cui il massimo di Gladiators che potremo schierare sarà di 3, mentre potremmo non essere in grado di schierarne nemmeno 1 se nessuna di queste condizioni fosse vera.
Inoltre, trattandosi di carte Soulbound, l'unico modo per sbloccarle è ottenendo punti merits e spendendoli poi nell'acquisto di pacchetti nell'apposito store della nostra Gilda.
Ogni pacchetto garantisce di trovare 5 carte di cui almeno 1 rara, ma se saremo più fortunati potremo trovare anche qualcuna delle devastanti epiche o leggendarie.
Se saremo particolarmente fortunati potremmo anche trovare più carte leggendarie in un unico pacchetto, come è successo a me giusto un paio di giorni fa!

I miei Gladiators
A forza di aprire pacchetti Gladius è quindi possibile trovare un po' tutti i Gladiators che compongono questo set, anche se fare progressi, a meno di non riuscire ad ottenere davvero tanti, tanti, tantissimi punti merits, è un lavoro lento e che richiede molta pazienza.
Sono perciò particolarmente fiero della mia collezione, che nel tempo è arrivata a poter fare affidamento su tutte le carte che compongono questo set - con l'importante eccezione di un'unica carta leggendaria che continua a sfuggirmi...
Per quanto riguarda invece comuni, rare ed epiche possiedo ormai la collezione completa di Gladiators e sto adesso piano piano incrementando il loro livello:

La carta di cui vado più fiero è naturalmente la potentissima Quora Towershead, che al livello 3 ha anche acquisito l'abilità immunity, divenendo praticamente inarrestabile!
Con il tempo spero di trovare anche l'ultima carta che mi manca e di riuscire ad aumentare il livello di molte di queste carte :)
