Guarding the red Vespa.

Hello everyone dear friends and welcome back to my blog. Today I share with you a watercolor of mine that represents the typicality of an ancient Italian village.

I have represented many subjects that a tourist or a visitor can meet in a historic center in Italy: the cat on an old chair, ancient stone walls, the ancient lamp post, small wooden roofs and shutters, the usual flower vases.

I also painted the famous Ape Piaggio in the background, a small three-wheeled vehicle used by farmers and small artisans.

But the main protagonist of my watercolor is the red Vespa in the foreground, a scooter that is famous all over the world and which was my companion from my youth.

The cat, snuggled comfortably on the chair, is looking towards the furthest dog, perhaps he is guarding the scooter.

A guardia della Vespa rossa.

Ciao a tutti cari amici e ben tornati sul mio blog. Oggi condivido con voi un mio acquarello che rappresenta la tipicità di un antico borgo italiano.

Ho rappresentato molti soggetti che un turista o un visitatore può incontrare in un centro storico in Italia: il gatto su una vecchia seggiola, mura antiche in pietra, il lampione antico, piccoli tetti e persiane in legno, i soliti vasi di fiori.

Ho anche dipinto la famosa Ape Piaggio sullo sfondo, un piccolo mezzo a tre ruote usato da contadini e piccoli artigiani.

Ma la protagonista principale del mio acquarello è la Vespa rossa in primo piano, uno scooter famoso in tutto il mondo e che è stata la mia compagna della gioventù.

Il gatto, comodamente accoccolato sulla sedia sta guardando verso il cane più lontano, forse è di guardia allo scooter.

Spero che il mio acquarello vi sia piaciuto e vi mando un abbraccio guidando la Vespa senza mani.
