Hello everyone dear friends and welcome back to my blog. When we think of castles we always imagine them perched on the heights or in places inside the countryside.
My watercolor interpretation of a castle on the sea
I thought of a fortress on the sea, as a bastion of control of the coasts. Indeed, the cases of castles on the sea are not very frequent, we can see some construction in the Mediterranean or in Scotland.
Italy and France are the nations that have the most fortified buildings on the sea, while the island of Malta has the largest fortified building complex in the world.

My watercolor today is the representation of a castle that contrasts with its structure and its colors to the force of the sea. The main protagonist is the sea in all its strength, with the waves breaking with a continuous movement and contrasting with the static nature of the castle.

Il mare e il castello
Ciao a tutti cari amici e ben tornati sul mio blog. Quando pensiamo ai castelli li immaginiamo sempre arroccati sulle alture o in posti interni alle campagne. Io ho pensato a una fortezza sul mare, come baluardo di controllo delle coste.
Effettivamente i casi di castelli sul mare non sono molto frequenti, possiamo vedere qualche costruzione nel mediterraneo o in Scozia.
L'Italia e la Francia sono le nazioni che hanno più costruzioni fortificate sul mare, mentre l'isola di Malta ha il più grande complesso edilizio fortificato del mondo.
Il mio acquarello di oggi è la rappresentazione di un castello che si contrappone con la sua struttura e i suoi colori alla forza del mare.
Il protagonista principale è il mare in tutta la sua forza, con le onde che si infrangono con un continuo movimento e contrastano con la staticità del castello.
