In Venezuela si e' svolto un referendum non vincolante sulla presunta pretesa del paese di mettere le mani sulla Guyana
Esequibo.
Si tratta dell'ennesimo casino fatto dagli inglesi quando hanno deciso di lasciare pezzi dell'”Impero”, basta ricordare i milioni di morti che lasciarono in India fra indu' e musulmani mentre il paese
si divideva fra appunto India e Pakistan.
In base ai confini dell'epoca quella parte di Guyana non fu data al Venezuela, il paese bolivariano se ne e' fottuto per secoli ma ora in quella parte di pianeta si sono scoperti giacimenti di ogni cosa, tanto che le multinazionali stanno facendo man bassa.
Ci sono state controversie giuridiche internazionali che hanno dato ragione alla Guyana, per ora.
Ovviamente il referendum e' stato un plebiscito, ora staremo a vedere cosa accadra', e' difficile che Maduro passi alle vie di fatto anche se con Cabello a capo delle forze armate non c'e' da dormire tranquilli.
Il fatto e' che parliamo di quasi il 70% del territorio della Guyana che si vedrebbe cosi' privare di gran parte della sua terra e della sua popolazione.
La Guyana non ha un esercito, soltanto un po' di polizia, cosi' ha chiesto protezione a Inghilterra ed Usa che pero' in questo preciso momento storico sono in rapporti docili con Maduro ed il suo petrolio soprattutto con la guerra in atto fra Russia e Ucraina.
Però quando Usa e GB possono mandare soldati in giro per il mondo non si tirano mai indietro.
Anche in questo caso vedremo cosa accadra'.
Cuba, al momento, pare non abbia saggiamente preso posizione, essendo fra l'altro paese con un lembo di territorio illegalmente occupato.

This is yet another mess made by the English when they decided to leave pieces of the "Empire", just remember the millions of deaths they left in India between Hindus and Muslims while the country
it was divided between India and Pakistan.
Based on the borders of the time, that part of Guyana was not given to Venezuela, the Bolivarian country didn't give a damn about it for centuries but now deposits of everything have been discovered in that part of the planet, so much so that multinationals are making a steal .
There have been international legal disputes that have proved Guyana right, for now.
Obviously the referendum was a plebiscite, now we'll see what happens, it's difficult for Maduro to take action even if with Cabello at the head of the armed forces there's no reason to sleep peacefully.
The fact is that we are talking about almost 70% of the territory of Guyana which would thus be deprived of a large part of its land and its population.
Guyana does not have an army, only a little police, so it asked for protection from England and the USA which, however, at this precise historical moment are in docile relations with Maduro and his oil, especially with the ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine.
But when the USA and the UK can send soldiers around the world they never hold back.
Even in this case we will see what will happen.
Cuba, at the moment, seems not to have wisely taken a position, being among other things a country with a strip of illegally occupied territory.
