Vivendo, da 22 anni, una parte dell'anno a Cuba spesso mi ritrovo a leggere commenti su cio' che sta accadendo sull'isola che a volte condivido, altre meno.
Uno di questi commenti riguarda italiani che sottolineano come
l'emigrazione dell'isola sia in aumento a causa della situazione economica che attraversa il paese.
Noi italiani quando parliamo di emigrazione dovremo farlo col
grande rispetto che merita chiunque scelga di abbandonare il proprio paese, la propria terra, alla ricerca di un futuro migliore.
In questo momento 5,8 milioni di italiani risiede al di fuori dal
paese, parliamo di 1 italiano su 10 ma il dato e' errato per difetto.
A Cuba, ad esempio, soltanto una piccolissima parte dei residenti ha comunicato all'AIRE (associazione italiana residenti all'estero)
l'acquisizione della residenza cubana.
Visto che i 2 paesi non comunicano fra loro i dati, la stragrande maggioranza dei residenti ha mantenuto anche la residenza in Italia.
I motivi possono essere i piu' svariati ma basti pensare che se hai la residenza a Cuba, a causa del bloqueo e' difficilissimo che una banca italiana ti permetta di aprire un conto, se lo fa come e' capitato ad un amico, ti applica tassi da fare invidia ad un prestito fatto da Toto' Riina.
Quindi il numero degli italiani residenti all'estero si stima fra i 7 e gli 8 milioni di persone, una enormita'.
L'Italia non si abbandona facilmente, resta per mille ragioni che potete intuire un paese meraviglioso dove vivere....se tramite il lavoro si riescono ad ottenere le risorse per farlo.
Leggo continuamente di gente con un titolo di studio, in Italia
faticava a trovare un lavoro da 600 euro al mese, che altrove e'
invece riuscita a farsi apprezzare inserendosi nel tessuto produttivo del paese ospitante.
Un amico che qua' faceva lavori umili ora e' in Australia, gli inizi
sono stati complicati perche' quel paese non accetta chiunque, ma oggi lavora, vive normalmente e si permette cose, anche semplici, che in Italia avrebbe faticato ad ottenere.
