Giovedì e' stato il 25 aprile, giorno in cui il nostro paese si libero' dal giogo fascista tornando, mi correggo, cercando di tornare, un paese democratico.
Certo che a vederlo ora viene da chiedersi se il sacrificio di quei giovani, di tutti quei giovani, sia servito a qualcosa.
Pero' voglio considerarlo anche un giorno, un periodo, un anno in cui tutti noi riusciamo a liberarci da tutto cio' che ci peggiora la vita.
Affronto un anno da cui ho eliminato ogni rottura di coglioni, anche questa e' una liberazione, spero che tutti voi possiate fare altrettanto.
Liberarci dalle paure, dall'ansia, dalle cose che ci fanno male, che ci peggiorano l'esistenza, questa sarebbe davvero una bella Liberazione.
Tornando alla Liberazione che oggi si festeggia mai come in questi periodi, dove la seconda carica dello stato si vanta di avere sulla scrivania il busto del duce, e' importante ricordarsi cosa fecero quegli uomini e quelle donne, quei ragazzi e quelle ragazze che scelsero di dire NO all'abominio nazifascista.
Perche' si poteva scegliere, si poteva dire di no a Salo' e ai nazisti, si poteva lottare per cercare di vivere in un paese migliore dopo vent'anni in cui ogni regola democratica era stata abolita.
Quei ragazzi salirono in montagna imbracciando un fucile, molti di loro persero la vita perche' oggi noi potessimo averne una migliore.
Il fascismo e' rimasto in molti gangli di questo paese che non ha mai fatto veramente i conti con cio' che accadde in quel ventennio, altrimenti non avremo questa gentaglia al governo.
Togliatti sbagliò ad amnistiare quella gente, i Partigiani sbagliarono a deporre le armi.
Occorreva vigilare, fare piazza pulita.
Piero Calamandrei, uno dei fondatori del Partito d'Azione e dell'Assemblea Costituente scrisse; ”Dietro ad ogni articolo della Costituzione, o giovani, voi dovete vedere giovani come voi che hanno dato la vita perche' la
liberta' e la giustizia potessero essere scritte su questa Carta”.

Today is April 25th, the day on which our country freed itself from the fascist yoke, returning, I correct myself, trying to return, to a democratic country.
Of course, seeing it now makes you wonder if the sacrifice of those young people, of all those young people, was of any use.

Returning to the Liberation which today is celebrated more than ever in these periods, where the second highest office of the state boasts of having the bust of the Duce on its desk, it is important to remember what those men and women, those boys and girls who chose to say NO to the Nazi-fascist abomination.
Because you could choose, you could say no to Salò and the Nazis, you could fight to try to live in a better country after twenty years in which every democratic rule had been abolished.
Those boys climbed the mountains carrying a rifle, many of them lost their lives so that today we could have a better one.
Fascism has remained in many corners of this country which has never really come to terms with what happened in those twenty years, otherwise we won't have this scum in government.
Togliatti was wrong to amnesty those people, the Partisans were wrong to lay down their weapons.
It was necessary to be vigilant, to make a clean sweep.
Piero Calamandrei, one of the founders of the Action Party and the Constituent Assembly wrote; "Behind every article of the Constitution, young people, you must see young people like you who gave their lives because
freedom and justice could be written on this Charter”.
