Hi everyone, I've been immersed in the world of 3D for a while now, from design to printing. In the past, I'd only focused on creating 3D works, and these always remained on the screen or, at most, printed in two dimensions. Recently, I got a nice PLA-based 3D printer and I'm having a blast with it. Finding myself watching, even for several minutes, the printer creating the work I've created from scratch amazes me every time. Seeing my characters go from 2D to 3D is truly unique. A few days ago, I created a miniature of Blanka, a famous Street Fighter character. Once I'd sketched it out, I created the 3D design, sent it to print, and the result is amazing.

In my opinion, it's a technology that can still evolve greatly; there's a lot of room for improvement. In the next few years we will certainly see some dramatic improvements also because in this sector (as in many others) times are very fast, what you do today is already obsolete, so it is essential to stay up to date to keep up with the times.

Ciao a tutti, è da un pò di tempo che mi sono immerso nel mondo del 3D, dalla progettazione alla stampa. In passato mi ero solamente dedicato nella realizzazione di opere in 3D e queste sono sempre rimasta a schermo o al massimo stampate in modo bidimensionale. Poco tempo fà ho preso una bella stampate 3D a filo PLA e mi ci sto divertendo tantissimo. Ritrovarmi a guardare anche per svariati minuti, la stampante che crea dal niente l'opera che io ho realizzato è un qualche cosa che mi stupisce ogni volta. Vedere i miei personaggi passare dalla forma 2D a 3D è qualcosa di unico. Qualche giorno fà ho realizzato il progetto per una miniatura di Blanka, famoso personaggio di Street Fighter, una volta abbozzata, ho creato il progetto in 3d, fatto questo ho mandato la stampa ed il risultato è sorprendente.

Secondo me è una tecnologia che può evolvere ancora molto, il margine di miglioramento è molto ampio. nei prossimi anni sicuramente vedremo dei miglioramenti eclatanti anche perchè in questo settore ( come in tanti altri ) i tempi sono velocissimi, quello che fai oggi è già obsoleto, quindi è fondamentale rimanere aggiornati per restare al passo con i tempi.
