C'era una volta tanto tempo fa, esattamente nel lontano 7 Maggio dell’anno 2020, due "fazioni" rivali.
Esse sorgevano ai piedi del monte Evangelo o monte Calvario con quota a 423 metri famoso per le 3 croci di ferro presenti già nel XVII secolo.
Meta di coppiette, fumatori di sigarette elaborate e gente che cerca pace o un panorama fantastico.
Le due fazioni da qualche tempo erano in pace per via della "pestilenza" (Covid-19) che le stava affliggendo.
La prima fazione è Arceto (RE/Italy).
Il Castello della città, sorto su un terrapieno ricavato con della terra proveniente dall’escavazione di un fossato, ha forma ellittica ed è uno dei pochi rimasti in zona ben tenuto ed abitabile. Tra le sue mura ristrutturate vi dimorano alcuni cittadini, ma si sono anche insediati luoghi di perdizione, pub, ristoranti, dentisti persino parrucchieri. La vita nella ridente cittadina di Arceto si è costituita anno dopo anno intorno al castello medioevale.
Fin dall’antichità era chiamata la città dei fagioli, così il detto: "Ad Arsei i pianten i Fasoul i nasen i leder" che tradotto sarebbe ad "Arceto piantano i fagioli e nascono i ladri", per il grande numero di furti avvenuti nel passato.
Non escludo che le origini dei giochi olimpici possano addirittura risalire alla "caursa dei fasoul", cioè "la corsa dei fagioli" un percorso su strada di 11 chilometri che tutt’ora si disputa ogni prima domenica di dicembre.
Nonostante la minaccia del terribile Covid-19, gli abitanti cercavano di vivere la loro vita in modo normale, trastullandosi tra fare jogging, portare a passeggio il cane, rilassarsi su una panchina al parco con il cellulare, non si poteva ancora andare al cinema o fermarsi al bar per gustare il classico bianchino (Bicchiere di vino bianco), usanza tra le preferite dalla maggior parte dei 4.000 abitanti di Arceto di età avanzata, ma la vita lentamente riprendeva
Mentre tutto questo avveniva alla luce del sole, negli oscuri scantinati del castello si progettava la conquista della terra di nessuno, meglio conosciuta come "La città delle Anatre", nei secoli dei secoli contesa con la città di Scandiano.
Qui come ad Arceto la vita cercava di andare avanti senza farsi spaventare dalla terribile minaccia.
Costruita all'ombra della sua gigantesca Rocca (Rocca sei Da Fogliano e dei Boiardo secolo XIII) risalente al 1315 un tempo impiegata come difesa della città ora insediata da abitazioni e un museo, si sviluppa su una superficie di 5.000 metri quadri.
Negli anni ha subito molte modifiche infatti si possono notare vari stili tra cui medievali, rinascimentali e barocche.
Nel 1772 Nicolò Dell'Abate dipinse al suo interno le scene dell'Eneide poi trasferite a Modena al palazzo Ducale.
Nonostante il divieto di mercati o fiere per evitare ritrovi di massa, i parchi ricominciavano a riempirsi nuovamente di bambini, persone che correvano e altre che si rilassavano.
Ma anche qui nelle segrete più segrete, si studiava il modo per conquistare "La città delle Anatre".
Le due città nonostante il conflitto, avevano un nemico comune che difendeva questi posti magici dove famiglie di anatre vivevano spensierate.
La "città delle Anatre" sorta sul Tresinaro, piccolo torrente che scorre in mezzo alle due fazioni, nasce nel Carpigiano e sfocia nel Secchia a Rubiera (RE/Italy).
Li la vita non si era mai fermata e nessuno sarebbe mai riuscito a fermarla.
Nessuno sarebbe mai riuscito a conquistare questa città perché dall'alto del suo giardino,
non si sa come sia arrivato e quando sia arrivato (si narra sia li da sempre), un fortissimo guardiano protegge queste Anatre, il pericoloso REXXIE (a volte ritornano:))
Nonostante gli innumerevoli attacchi con macchine di distruzione tipo ruspe,scavatori, trattori e quant'altro Rexxie e' sempre riuscito a mettere in fuga i nemici difendendo la popolazione dei pennuti!
Cosi la città delle Anatre visse felice e starnazzante.

Once upon a time, exactly as far back as May 7, 2020, there were two rival "factions". They stood at the foot of Mount Evangelo or Mount Calvary with an altitude of 423 meters famous for the 3 iron crosses that were present as early as the 17th century.
A destination for couples, elaborate cigarette smokers and people looking for peace or a fantastic view.
The two factions had been at peace for some time because of the "pestilence" (Covid-19) that was afflicting them.
The first faction is Arceto (RE/Italy). The castle of the city, built on an embankment made with land coming from the excavating of a moat, has an elliptical shape and is one of the few left in the well-maintained and habitable area. Some citizens live within its refurbished walls, but there have also been places of perdition, pubs, restaurants, dentists even hairdressers.
Life in the laughing town of Arceto was formed year after year around the medieval castle.
Since ancient times it was called the city of beans, so the saying: "Ad Arsei I pianten i Fasoul i nasen i leder" which translated would be to "Arceto plant the beans and are born thieves", for the large number of thefts that occurred in the past. I do not rule out that the origins of the Olympic Games can even be traced back to the "caursa dei fasoul", that is, "the bean race" an 11-kilometre road course that is still held every first Sunday of December.
Despite the threat of the terrible Covid-19, the inhabitants tried to live their lives in a normal way, trusting between jogging, taking the dog for a walk, relaxing on a park bench with their mobile phones, you could not yet go to the cinema or stop at the bar to enjoy the classic "Bianchino" (White Wine Glass), a favourite of most of the 4,000 inhabitants of Arceto , but life slowly resumed ___
While all this took place in the sunlight, in the dark basements of the castle was planned the conquest of no man's land, better known as "The City of the Ducks", in the centuries disputed with the city of Scandiano.
Here as in Arceto, life tried to move forward without being frightened by the terrible threat. Built-in the shadow of its gigantic fortress (Rocca sei Da Fogliano and the Boiardo century XIII) dating back to 1315 once used as a defence of the city now established by dwellings and a museum, it is spread over an area of 5,000 square meters.
Over the years it has undergone many changes you can notice various styles including medieval, Renaissance and Baroque.
In 1772 Nicolò Dell'Abate painted inside the scenes of the Eneide then transferred to Modena to the Ducal Palace.
Despite the ban on markets or fairs to avoid mass gatherings, the parks began to fill up again with children, people running and others relaxing.
But even here in the most secret dungeons, the way to conquer "The City of Ducks" was studied. The two cities, despite the conflict, had a common enemy who defended these magical places where families of ducks lived carefreely.
The "city of ducks" arose on the Tresinaro, a small stream that flows in the middle of the two factions, was born in the Carpigiano and flows into the Secchia a Rubiera (RE/Italy).
Their life never stopped and no one would ever be able to stop it. No one would ever be able to conquer this city because from the top of his garden, you don't know how he got there and when he arrived (it's said to be there forever), a very strong guardian protects these Ducks, the dangerous REXXIE (sometimes they come back:))
Despite countless attacks with destruction machines such as bulldozers, diggers, tractors and whatnot Rexxie has always managed to put enemies on the run defending the population of the feathers!
So the city of the Ducks lived happily and sneering.
