The Santa Geffa animal farm is an evergreen for us, a place that never goes out of fashion, a small large family of animals that we have known for 3 years now. During the summer, visits to the park are rarer for us due to the high temperatures. Even the animals suffer from the heat and each of them protects itself as best it can: the rabbits stay in the holes under the ground, the horses in the stables and the animals all seek shade and water, the latter always provided by the park guardians.
On Sunday we returned to visit the park, and everything is still in its place. However, we noticed that the number of small donkeys increased to 3 units while the sheep were moved to a more suitable place. The growing number of specimens has made a more suitable place necessary.
Nicolò immediately looked for and found the rabbits, very affectionate little stuffed animals who are used to the presence of people, from whom they always receive cuddles and food. We also brought fresh food: celery, parsley, carrots and salad. The rabbits particularly appreciated celery and salad, they get too many carrots. After a nice feast of vegetables, we went to the enclosure of the donkeys and horses, they too were awaiting our visit, in particular the tasty carrots and biscuits, which they are particularly fond of!
During the hours when the park is closed, the animals are free to graze and often go to the area at the bottom of the land, full of good grass to chew.

La fattoria degli animali di Santa Geffa è un evergreen per noi, un luogo che non passa mai di moda, una piccola grande famiglia di animali che oramai da ben 3 anni conosciamo. Durante il periodo estivo le visite al parco sono più rare per noi a causa delle temperature elevate. Anche gli animali soffrono il caldo e ognuno di loro si protegge come può: i conigli restano nelle buche sotto terra, i cavalli nelle stalle e gli animali tutti cercano ombra e acqua, quest'ultima fornita sempre dai guardiani del parco.
Domenica siamo tornati a visitare il parco, e tutto è sempre al suo posto. Abbiamo notato però che il numero di piccoli asini è aumentato a 3 unità mentre le pecore sono state trasferite in un luogo più consono. Il numero cresce degli esemplari ha reso necessario un luogo più idoneo.
Nicolò ha subito cercato e trovato i conigli, piccoli peluche davvero molto affettuosi e abituati alla presenza della gente, da cui ricevono sempre coccole e cibo. Anche noi abbiamo portato cibo fresco: sedano, prezzemolo, carote e insalata. I conigli hanno particolarmente apprezzato sedano e insalata, di carote ne ricevono fin troppe. Dopo una bella scorpacciata di verdure, ci siamo recati al recinto degli asini e dei cavalli, anche loro attendevano la nostra visita, in particolare le gustose carote e le fette biscottate, di cui sono particolarmente ghiotti!
Nelle ore in cui il parco è chiuso, gli animali sono liberi di pascolare e si recano spesso nella zona on fondo al terreno, pieno di buona erba da masticare.
