First of all, we have to say that our Hive has something extra and now I will explain why.
In a traditional social network, for example, if I’m passionate about cake recipes, the algorithm is able to understand it because it monitors everything I do. The goal of social networks is to make you stay longer scrolling inside the platform, so it will make sure that I find lots of cake recipes. Sometimes, when you open your feed you might even find ONLY cake recipes!
This technique is extremely profitable for the social network because, by doing so, you will tend to spend hours and hours looking at the content you like. But there is also another side of the coin: it is difficult to come into contact with posts about topics you have not shown interest in. For example, you could potentially also like Latin American dances, but you have never told the platform, so you will see almost only cake recipes. From my point of view, this is an extreme limitation.
But luckily there is Hive, where there is the possibility of choice! In fact, if I want to read posts related to a single topic, I can filter them with tags or read certain communities. If I feel inspired and want to learn something new, I simply go to the home page and look for posts from anyone who has published on the blockchain.
It's an incredible wealth!
Innanzitutto, dobbiamo dire che il nostro Hive ha una marcia in più e adesso vi spiego perché.
In un social tradizionale, se io ad esempio sono appassionata di ricette di torte, l’algoritmo è in grado di capirlo perché controlla tutto quello che faccio. L’obiettivo dei social è farti rimanere più a lungo a scrollare all’interno della piattaforma, quindi farà in modo che io trovi tantissime ricette di torte. A volte, aprendo il tuo feed potresti trovare addirittura SOLO ricette di torte!
Questa tecnica è estremamente profittevole per il social perché, così facendo, tenderai a passare ore e ore a guardare i contenuti che ti piacciono. Ma c’è anche un altro lato della medaglia: è difficile venire in contatto con post che parlano di argomenti su cui non hai dimostrato interesse. Ad esempio, potenzialmente potrebbero piacerti anche i balli latino-americani, ma non lo hai mai detto alla piattaforma, quindi vedrai quasi solo ricette di torte. Dal mio punto di vista, questa è un’estrema limitazione.
Ma per fortuna esiste Hive, dove c’è possibilità di scelta! Infatti, se voglio leggere post relativi a un singolo argomento, posso filtrarli con i tag oppure leggere determinate communities. Se, invece, mi sento ispirato e voglio imparare qualcosa di nuovo, vado semplicemente sulla home e cerco i post di chiunque abbia pubblicato sulla blockchain.
Si tratta di una ricchezza incredibile!
The posts I read on this community are mostly about activities I enjoy in real life, but I also like to read about topics I don't know about every now and then, with the goal of learning new things.
At the top of my list of preferences, I put posts about plants and nature. On Hive, I always find interesting ideas for my vegetable garden! I'm especially fascinated by posts about food self-sufficiency where you can learn practical notions on how to grow your own vegetables.
You don't need a lot of land, even a balcony or a small piece of garden can be enough to be satisfied. By the way, my friend 
I post che leggo su questa community hanno principalmente a che fare con le attività che mi piacciono nella vita reale, ma ogni tanto mi piace anche leggere di argomenti che non conosco, con l’obiettivo di imparare cose nuove.
In cima alla lista di preferenze metto i post sulle piante e sulla natura. Su Hive trovo sempre spunti interessanti per il mio orto e il mio giardino! Sono affascinata soprattutto dai post che parlano di autosufficienza alimentare dove puoi imparare nozioni pratiche su come coltivare le tue verdure.
Non serve avere un terreno grande, può bastare anche un balcone o un piccolo pezzo di giardino per avere soddisfazione. A proposito, il mio amico

In second place among my favorite posts to read are travels. The Hivers I follow introduce me to distant and beautiful places! Maybe I will never see all the remote corners of the Earth in person, but their stories make me travel with my imagination.
There are also some very good Italian users who talk about travel. Over the years they have made me discover places that I did not know and that I discovered were just a few hours away by car. So even our community, although small, is able to introduce wonderful places! 
The tool I use the most is definitely Worldmappin, where you can go and browse for interesting stories!
Al secondo posto tra i miei post preferiti da leggere ci sono i viaggi. Gli Hivers che seguo mi fanno conoscere luoghi lontani e bellissimi! Forse non vedrò mai di persona tutti gli angoli remoti della Terra, ma i loro racconti mi fanno viaggiare con la fantasia.
Ci sono anche alcuni bravissimi utenti italiani che parlano di viaggi. Nel corso degli anni mi hanno fatto scoprire posti che non conoscevo e che ho scoperto essere a poche ore di auto. Quindi anche la nostra community, seppur piccola, è in grado di far conoscere posti meravigliosi!
Lo strumento che utilizzo di più è sicuramente Worldmappin, dove si può andare a curiosare alla ricerca di storie interessanti!

In my free time I like reading cooking posts, especially if they are vegan and vegetarian. Maybe Hive can be a little limited for this sector, because the video part is not very developed, but it is always possible to find something interesting. I have tried many recipes and I must say that one of the best users is definitely 
The last category of posts that I always enjoy reading are artistic posts. For me, art includes not only painting, but also photography, drawing, body painting, ... In real life I’m a creative person and this characteristic is also reflected in my readings on Hive. The artists I follow are so many that I don't want to wrong anyone, so I don't tag them.
I think this blockchain can be a good showcase for an artist. It is a totally democratic social network, so here quality is the most important thing to emerge. I have no doubt about this: if you are a quality emerging artist, over time on Hive you will be noticed and appreciated.
Nel tempo libero mi piace leggere post di cucina, soprattutto se sono vegani e vegetariani. Forse Hive può essere un po’ limitato per questo settore, perché la parte video è poco sviluppata, ma qualcosa di interessante è sempre possibile trovarlo. Ho provato molte ricette e devo dire che una degli utenti più bravi è sicuramente
L’ultima categoria di post di cui leggo sempre volentieri sono i post artistici. Per me l’arte comprende non solo la pittura, ma anche la fotografia, il disegno, il bodypainting, … Nella vita sono una persona creativa e questa caratteristica si riflette anche nelle mie letture su Hive. Gli artisti che seguo sono così tanti che non voglio fare torto a nessuno, quindi non metto tag.
Penso che questa blockchain possa essere una buona vetrina per un artista. È un social totalmente democratico, quindi qui la qualità è la cosa più importante per emergere. Non ho alcun dubbio su questo: se sei un artista emergente di qualità, con il tempo su Hive verrai notato e apprezzato.
