Dopo tante polemiche, il Governo ha deciso di ospitare i cittadini Afgani in Albania, in via transitoria. Lo annunciato il Premier Edi Rama. Ma si dice che i talebani hanno già un lista con i nomi, e daranno loro la caccia dovunque si trovino. Comunque l'Albania e la Macedonia del nord hanno dichiarato che nel loro paese gli afgani saranno al sicuro.
Sugli social hanno scoppiato le polemiche, ma il governo Albanese non si ferma. Dobbiamo ospitarli- ha detto Rama - una volta abbiamo salvato gli ebrei, adesso gli afgani. Parole grandi, ma l'Albania è un paese povero, che deve far fronte a tanti problemi per conto suo. E' questi afgani saranno un peso in più. Comunque donne e bambini, giornalisti, e civili, non vanno lasciati soli, ma questo è una responsabilita' di tutti, non di pochi.
Poi mi fa ridere, poiché gli afgani ora si chiamano solo Studiosi del KUR'AN, non più estremisti, e hanno fatto delle grosse promesse anche sugli diritti delle donne.
Il primo aereo con cittadini afgani che saranno ospitati in Albania dovrebbe arrivare a Rinas (aeroporto principale di Tirana) domani e non oggi prima della mezzanotte, come previsto.
Dovevano venire oggi, ma il volo è stato rinviate per cause legate ai caotici sviluppi a Kabul.
Poche ore prima dell'operazione, oggi a mezzogiorno l'ambasciatore Usa a Tirana ha avuto un incontro con il ministro degli Esteri Olta Xhaçka.
Yuri Kim ha elogiato il contributo dell'Albania all'alloggio dei cittadini afgani, ma non ha fornito una cifra esatta sul numero di persone che saranno ospitate nel nostro Paese.
"Apprezziamo molto questo gesto dell'Albania per i tassi che arrivano da una zona di guerra. Il mondo dovrebbe sapere e dovrebbe essere grato all'Albania. Non abbiamo ancora un numero esatto perché cambia di momento in momento"

Il ministro della Difesa Niko Peleshi ha invece affermato che un'albanese che ha lavorato per organizzazioni umanitarie è rimasta in Afghanistan e sta lavorando per il suo ritorno.
Oltre a Tirana, nella zona della città Studenti e Durazzo, sembra che il governo abbia scelto altre strutture per il sistema dei cittadini stranieri. A partire da lunedì pomeriggio, diversi edifici studenteschi della città sono stati ruotati per far posto agli afgani.
Gli edifici 7 - 8 di Student City sono stati svuotati dalla mattina dopo che gli studenti hanno lasciato le stanze per trasferirsi in un'altra posto.Alcuni sono rimasti propio fuori.
Secondo le fonti, il primo gruppo che arriverà in Albania sarà composto da circa 250 cittadini afgani, compresi quelli che hanno dato il loro contributo al fianco di Usa e Nato durante le missioni in Afghanistan.
Sono traduttori e collaboratori a vari livelli delle strutture americane in Afghanistan, come detto. Saranno trasferiti insieme alle loro famiglie.
Entro una settimana, in Albania, dovrebbe arrivare il primo gruppo di 250 afgani. Uno dei membri del gabinetto di Rama è incaricato di organizzare l'intero processo di accoglienza e sistemazione degli afgani, che dovrebbero essere divisi in più gruppi e ospitati in strutture speciali.
L'Albania sta veramente prendendo le sue responsabilità come un come paese della NATO, ma saremo in grado di affrontare tutto ciò? Potremmo non essere ricchi, ma lo dobbiamo ai nostri amici afgani bisognosi e lo dobbiamo alla nostra tradizione, al nostro recente passato di rifugiati e anche al ricordo che sarà lasciato ai nostri figli. Queste sono state le parole dei leader, ma nei giorni successivi si vedrà se veramente saremo in grado di affrontare tutto ciò.

Yuri Kim praised Albania's contribution to the accommodation of Afghan citizens, but did not provide an exact figure on the number of people who will be hosted in our country.
