Ciao a tutti,qualche mese fà ho visitato un bellissimo castello che si trova a pochi chilometri da Parma:Castello di Torrechiara.
Il castello si trova in una zona collinare ricca di vigneti, situato su un’altura che domina la vallata sottostante in cui scorre il torrente Parma.
Hello everyone, a few months ago I visited a beautiful castle which is located a few kilometers from Parma: Castello di Torrechiara.
The castle is located in a hilly area full of vineyards, located on a hill overlooking the valley below where the Parma stream flows.
Come ogni costruzione storica e misteriosa che si rispetti, anche questo maniero ha la sua leggenda. Ovviamente legata ad una storia d’amore, sembra infatti che il fantasma di Pier Maria Rossi si aggiri per il castello, ritornando spesso sul Rio delle favole, la strada che conduce alla fortezza, pronunciando una frase, un motto, dedicato all’amata Bianca: “nunc et semper”, ora e sempre. Le stesse parole riportate anche nella Camera d’Oro.
Like any self-respecting historical and mysterious construction, this manor also has its legend. Obviously linked to a love story, it seems that the ghost of Pier Maria Rossi wanders around the castle, often returning to the Rio delle favole, the road that leads to the fortress, saying a phrase, a motto, dedicated to the beloved Bianca : “Nunc et semper”, now and forever. The same words also reported in the Gold Chamber.
Ma il mistero non è finito qui. Sembra che il castello sia infestato da una seconda presenza femminile. È impossibile che si tratti di Bianca Pellegrini poiché si dice che i fantasmi non possano attraversare l’acqua e che quindi Bianca, seppellita vicino a Milano, poco al di là del fiume Po, non possa tornare a Torrechiara. Chi è dunque la dama di straordinaria bellezza che nelle notti di plenilunio, quando la nebbia avvolge il castello, compare nello spalto est dove una volta sorgeva il giardino delle dame? Non si conosce il suo nome ma la tradizione orale del paese vuole sia una duchessa vissuta qui nel Seicento e che venne murata viva dal marito nelle cantine della Rocca.
But the mystery did not end there. It seems that the castle is haunted by a second female presence. It is impossible that it is Bianca Pellegrini since it is said that ghosts cannot cross the water and that therefore Bianca, buried near Milan, just beyond the Po river, cannot return to Torrechiara. So who is the lady of extraordinary beauty who on full moon nights, when the fog envelops the castle, appears in the eastern rampart where the ladies' garden once stood? Her name is not known but the town's oral tradition wants it to be a duchess who lived here in the seventeenth century and who was walled up alive by her husband in the cellars of the Rocca.
