Hey All,
As promised in my earlier post, I said I would share a separate post about my curation rewards. Explaining how they are helping me earn more #HIVE compared to delegating. The post I am talking about is this one - Building HIVE POWER is CRUCIAL - Powered Up 8K+ HP Today - 153K+ HP GOAL Achieved Much in Advance - What NeXt?. So in todays post we are going to talk about my curation rewards being increased exponentially. If I were to summarize everything in one line, it would be:
Less Delegation = More HP = More #hive rewards
Aggregated Hive Power (HP) earned per day for the last month..
Lets get into looking some data for my account . I triggered a HiveSQL query to get me my aggregated Hive Power (HP) curation rewards for last one month. And here is what I found from the data at high level::
My daily Hive Power rewards fluctuated significantly over the 31-day period, ranging from a minimum of 10.058 HP on 2025-08-11 to a maximum of 36.941 HP on 2025-09-02, with an average of roughly 24–25 HP per day. Early August (11–25 Aug) saw generally lower rewards, mostly between 10–22 HP, with the lowest days in the 10–15 HP range. And this is due to most of my Hive Power being delegated. That’s when I decided to reduce my delegations and use more of my Hive Power for curation, to see what the impact would be on my daily rewards and overall Hive earnings. This is how my current HP stands where just 10K+ HP is delegated and rest all is being leveraged for curation.
From late August into early September, rewards gradually increased, with several days exceeding 30 HP (1–10 Sep), this is the impact that I started to see for the increased Hive power curation curation activity. Peak days included 2 Sep (36.94 HP), 3 Sep (34.92 HP), and 7 Sep (34.32 HP). So in all where I was getting 10+ #hive for curation. But with the increased Hive Power, my daily curation rewards have nearly tripled, now reaching around 35+ HP per day. Pretty impressive, isn’t it? Lets now have a look at some graphs that I have plotted using Phython...
In summary I would say I was doing it all wrong by delegating my #HIVE Power. If you are in a position to curate then that is the best for earning more #HIVE rewards. Simply by keeping more Hive Power in ones account and actively curating posts, I was able to significantly increase my daily rewards and the same can be seen from the above graphs shared. I was able to nearly triplie what I earned before. Therefoe I would say consistent curation not only boosts your Hive Power over time but also allows you to have a more direct impact on the content you support. This experience has taught me a good lesson that smart curation, combined with sufficient Hive Power, can be far more rewarding than simply delegating your Hive Power (HP). Ok I guess this should be it for todays post on - "My Curation Rewards in Action: Less Delegation, More Hive Power, More Curation Rewards..." As part of what next - I will continue to focus building my Hive Power and right now my goal is to get to a point of have 175K+ HP by the end of this year, 2025. Lets see how things pan out in near future. Happy powering up #HIVE, curating and Happy Investing... cheers
