So here is the short story about my investment in Platinum 10 gram Bar. But before that let me give you all my reasons to buying Platinum bar. To be frank first it was a random decision and I wanted to give this bar as gift to my wife. But later I found out that Platinum is rare metal, used in jewelry, auto, and technology industries and has a strong demand. So it would be a good investment and hence took this step to buying this precious metal. Coming back to the story, in Feb 2025, I invested ₹34,000 in a 10g Platinum Bar. And today, it’s valued at ₹47,140 - hence the profit made is close ₹13,140 in just 6 months time frame. Sometimes, the ignored metal beats the shiny ones - Do you agree? Here is the snapshot of my purchase oder from Amazon and you can clearly see the price I bout this Platinum bar for i.e. Rs.34K+ approx. $410+.

💎 My Platinum Bar (10 Gram) Investment Summary....

As you can see the return is more than 38% and that too in a very short span of time ie. 6 months. where do we get these type of returns. Yes #crypto is an exception but when you compare the same with fixed deposit aka #FD, #gold or #equities its difficult to get this type of a profit in short term. Do you guys want to have a look at the current price of the same bar at amazon now? Well here is the screenshot of it where it is now selling for Rs.47K+ INR and close to $568+..

So what NeXt now? But before I answer this question, I wanted to talk about importance of choosing the right asset class at the right time. In my case, I had been tracking the price of Platinum for quite some time and I was convinced that it was undervalued compared to #gold and #silver. It bringsa decent amount of utility and cannot be ignored as a precious metal that one should be having as an investment. Its like sometimes, lesser talked about assets like #platinum in this case can deliver surprising results. And Yes it did and I have a proof of this on the #HIVE Blockchain to chreshih this moment later in time. Now coming to the next part of this journey it’s all about what steps I take from here. Do I SELL Vs #HODL. Do I book profits and exit? Or I #hodl and let this investment compound further? For me, it’s not just about the short term gains but about building a well diversified portfolio that balances growth, safety, and future opportunities. Hence my plan is to continue to be invested for now and I'll be on a hook to buy another 10 gram Platinum Bar if opportunity strikes. Maybe even redirect some of my #crypto profits into buying this gem of a metal - why not?
