As promised in my last post - Pi Network Part1 - Finally I have my Pi Tokens Available for SELL - What NeXt? I said that I will be sharing the details as to how I got my Pi tokens swapped for #HIVE and here I am posting about the same. At first you need to head over to the - Exchange Menu on Peakd portal and this is the screen you will notice...
Check out the section Crypto Swaps on PeakD.com and for me the SWAPSPACE worked out very well. In bried SWAPSPACE is a 3rd party that offers access to exchange 300+ cryptocurrencies, requires no signup and has a competitive rate. I did not want to sign up for another exchange where Pi tokens were being traded, and hence this service was leveraged. Clicking on the SWAPSPACE button led to the following screen, where you can enter the required details, which are self-explanatory.
The next screen shows you the offer and in my case I was swapping 815 Pi tokens for #HIVE and it displayed 1691+ HIVE to be received. The swap is dynamic and the amounts of tokens will change accordingly. So far it was all about clicking buttons and entering the details which is quite simple to follow. Only thing I was worried about was if this is going to work or not. What if my tokens are sent and ther is no swap happened then what will I do. I had no options here but to trust the process and ensure that I am doing everything correctly.
Yes, I doubled check to ensure everything is correct and for that reason I went ahead adding a comment/memo stating - "Pi exchange for HIVE". Next I had to enter the Pi token Address where I needed to send the Pi tokens. And for this I leveraged the QR Scan code to the address and scanned it on my Pi Mobile App to send the tokens. This was a smooth proces to enter in the wallet address and last step was to now wait for #HIVE to arrive in my wallet.
I was able to track my crypt swpa process on the SwapSpace via the exchange id that was generated. At first it was showing that it will take around 25 minutes for the swap to be completed - which is like a very long time but then there was this good news and the above screened poped up with a message - "Your exchange successfully completed" and it also stated that the exchange took just 9 minutes which is even faster than expected. Good news RIGHT from stating 25 minutes to just 9 minutes... And here is my #HIVE in my wallet...& all was powered up.. Thanks to the free Pi tokens that I had mined, I never expected they would one day get me around 1.7K+ #HIVE, and here we are.
