I may say my encounter with splinterlands was fate and luck. No one ever told me about the game before, I just saw the post about the game in one of my followers' blogs and I used just a small amount of hive in my hive account to register it without even thinking of anything.
My encounter with splinterlands was also a preparation met with opportunity. I love games and I have many games on my phone playing which I did not earn anything from them. I was imagining if I could invest all this time in a splinterlands game. Therefore, I shifted my focus to the splinterlands game instead of my regular games on my phone. Highly disappointed for not being able to play the game: I left the game for months just because I did not know how to play it and later received motivation from the same blog I saw the game for the first time.
Without controversy, it is clear that splinterlands changes lives and I am one of the testimoniers of it. I can be boosted that my life has been affected in one or more ways through splinterlands with a lot of benefits I have gotten from this great NFT game.
I have never been into any game that has been beneficial to me like the splinterlands game.
There was a time when I was looking for an electricity bill, I looked from left to right and there was no penny in my hand. I called a friend of mine to lend me $40 to pay my electricity bill and buy some of the things I needed. This friend of mine replied to me that, “I am sorry dude, I ran into debt too and I need help from someone to help or else I will have to sell my properties. If you have other ways you can help me, I will be very glad: I wanted to call you earlier but a lot of things kept running in my head that made me forget”.
Another thing that made the issue complicated was that the company I was working for did not pay my salary for four months. I was managing myself going to work, getting basic needs for myself and transporting myself to work. Life was unbearable and unpalatable. I was just moving on, expecting my salary to be paid.
Nothing i could do than to start thinking other ways to get the money for my electricity,
The company in-charge of electricity called me again saying that ‘if i did not pay my bill within seven days’ i will not have access to electricity again.
At night, I was thinking about how to get the money; splinterlands game was really a game i love to play. After completing my daily quest that night; i opened my loot chest, I got a gold foil card worth $150 and I placed it on sale. Within 24 hours the card was sold out. I paid for my bill and also got food stuff for myself worth $80.
My first investment into crypto game came from splinterlands
Hmm, last year, my friends were talking about crypto and i was really excited to hear that. Though I had a Binance account which I don't normally use; after a long lecture about crypto, I made a choice of starting with a small amount of money. I don’t want to wait for my salary before starting crypto which would take more than 10 days. I went to my Splinterland account, converted 20,000 DEC to hive from hive-engine and started with it. I got a positive result from the little investment I did which I was happy about. This made me buy more crypto from other sources of income I got.
I invested in many projects such as algo, vet, BNB, ADA, WAXP, and many more.
All these are possible with just splinterland. If I did not start that very day, I may not have started it and I would have lost in crypto.
If I could do all these with just my small account, I imagine what those that have big accounts will do?
WHAT IS MY NEXT PLAN
My next agenda is to develop my splinterlands account to a higher level, i believe roman was not built in a day; it takes time before Roman was built. I will build my splinterlands account to my desire slowly and steadily.
