Torum, per farvi accedere, chiede una mail e un numero di cellulare, il che ha scatenato tutta una serie di considerazioni, alle quali ha risposto anche direttamente uno dei fondatori, che ha un account su Hive: Hive account@torum

Volevo rispondere in un commento, alla fine ho deciso di fare questo post.

Faccio qualche riflessione sull'argomento privacy, che ho affrontato varie volte in vari post, per fare un discorso un filino controcorrente.
Io sono contrario a qualunque forma di privacy di qualunque tipo, sono per una società trasparente al 100%.
Il singolo, noi comuni mortali, viviamo già in una società dove la privacy non esiste praticamente più.
In quella piccola percentuale che ancora esiste, quel poco di dati che ancora sono, non veramente privati, ma un pochino più difficili da reperire, sta il valore di questi dati.
Se rendiamo pubblici a tutti anche questi pochi dati, allora ogni nostro dato perde un qualunque valore.
Il punto è che le grandi aziende già sanno tutto di noi, possono acquisire dati, dalla nostra posizione, dalle nostre carte di credito, dalla nostra voce, anche solo dal tono della nostra voce, dalle persone che frequentiamo, cioè che si trovano nelle nostre vicinanze.

Per evitare qualunque tipo di tracciamento dovremmo vivere nel rifugio della foto, senza cellulare, senza nessun tipo di utenza (no luce, no gas, no acqua, no telefono né fisso né mobile, no computer, no tv, etc.), non dovremmo avere contatti con altre persone, frequentare luoghi pubblici di qualunque tipo, e per pubblici intendo ovunque, visto che le telecamere pubbliche o private sono praticamente onnipresenti, nè permettere a chiunque di farci fotografie o di registrare la nostra voce; dovremmo stare attenti ad uscire dal rifugio perché potremmo essere ripresi dai satelliti, dagli aerei che fanno rilevazioni a terra, dagli elicotteri di televisioni e forze dell'ordine (carabinieri, polizia, etc.) e da una googlecar che si è persa nella campagna.

Tempo fa ho lasciato un appartamento che avevo in affitto, dopo due giorni è entrata la nuova inquilina, il giorno stesso facebook me l'ha proposta come possibile amicizia da aggiungere, non l'ho mai vista in vita mia, nessuna persona in comune, nulla che potesse metterci in collegamento tranne il fatto che i nostri cellulari hanno avuto la stessa posizione nello spazio, anche se non nel tempo.
Facebook non ha il mio numero di telefono, periodicamente me lo chiede, ma lo fa giusto per fare finta di non saperlo già.

Quindi a cosa serve la privacy?
Serve esclusivamente a tutelare facebook da me e da tutti noi, non certo il contrario.
Dico facebook per dire qualunque azienda, i nostri dati sono alla portata di qualunque azienda anche medio-piccola, i piccoli devono pagare, i grandi acquisiscono e vendono, risultato: trasparenza totale.

Ma noi sappiamo tutto di queste aziende?
Assolutamente no, noi non abbiamo gli strumenti e il denaro per sapere tutto di loro, ecco perché io sono per l'eliminazione totale della privacy, voglio che tutti sappiano tutto di tutti, per rendere paritetica la situazione che ora è decisamente sbilanciata.
Come si può ottenere?
Rivelare i propri dati a tutti li rende molto meno appetibili per le grandi aziende, maggiore è la quantità di dati liberamente fruibili da tutti minore è il loro valore commerciale.

Il secondo step è fare pressione sui governi per ottenere l'assoluta trasparenza anche delle società, eliminare il diritto di sfruttamento commerciale e l'obbligo di pubblicizzazione di qualunque dato o azione delle aziende pubbliche e private.

In realtà i segreti industriali stessi, al giorno d'oggi, non è che siano così segreti, quindi sarebbe solo un piccolo step anche questo, è vero che io personalmente so ben poco di cosa fa una grande azienda, ma i suoi concorrenti sanno quasi tutto e copiano tutto il copiabile già ora, solo che lo fanno senza pagare nulla, perché essendo vietato, viene fatto ma non detto.

Anche in questo caso, alla fine, chi ha speso soldi per un certo brevetto non è molto tutelato, lo sarebbe di più, a mio avviso se lo sfruttamento commerciale del brevetto fosse aperto a tutti, pagando però i diritti all'autore.
Volendo tenersi l'esclusiva dello sfruttamento commerciale, alla fine gli autori non si prendono nemmeno le royalties sull'idea, vengono copiati e chi s'è visto s'è visto.

I do some reflections on the subject of privacy, which I have dealt with several times in various posts, to make a speech a little bit counter-current.
I am against any form of privacy of any kind, I am for a 100% transparent company.
The individual, we mere mortals, already live in a society where privacy practically no longer exists.
In that small percentage that still exists, what little data that still is, not really private, but a little more difficult to find, lies the value of this data.
If we make even these few data public to everyone, then all our data loses any value.
The point is that large companies already know everything about us, they can acquire data, from our position, from our credit cards, from our voice, even just from the tone of our voice, from the people we hang out with. , that is, that are in our vicinity.

To avoid any type of tracking, we should live in the shelter of the photo, without a mobile phone, without any type of user (no electricity, no gas, no water, no landline or mobile phone, no computer, no TV, etc.), we should not have contact with other people, attend public places of any kind, and by public I mean everywhere, since public or private cameras are practically omnipresent, nor allow anyone to take pictures or record our voice; we should be careful to get out of the shelter because we could be caught by satellites, by planes making ground surveys, by television and law enforcement helicopters (carabinieri, police, etc.) and by a googlecar that got lost in the countryside.

Some time ago I left an apartment I had rented, after two days the new tenant came in, the same day facebook proposed her to me as a possible friendship to add, I've never seen her in my life, no common person, nothing that could connect us except the fact that our phones have had the same position in space, although not in time.
Facebook doesn't have my phone number, it periodically asks me, but it does it just to pretend it doesn't already know.

So what is privacy for?
It serves exclusively to protect facebook from me and all of us, certainly not the other way around.
I say facebook to say any company, our data is within the reach of any company, even small-medium ones, the small ones have to pay, the big ones buy and sell, the result: total transparency.

But do we know everything about these companies?
Absolutely not, we don't have the tools and the money to know everything about them, that's why I am for the total elimination of privacy, I want everyone to know everything about everyone, to equalize the situation that is now decidedly unbalanced.
How can this be achieved?
Revealing your data to everyone makes them much less attractive for large companies, the greater the amount of data freely usable by all, the lower their commercial value.

The second step is to put pressure on governments to obtain absolute transparency also for companies, eliminate the right of commercial exploitation and the obligation to publicize any data or action of public and private companies.

In reality, the industrial secrets themselves, nowadays, are not that secret, so this would be just a small step too, it is true that I personally know very little about what a large company does, but its competitors almost know. everything and copy everything that can be copied already now, only they do it without paying anything, because being forbidden, it is done but not said.

Even in this case, in the end, those who have spent money on a certain patent are not very protected, they would be more protected, in my opinion if the commercial exploitation of the patent were open to everyone, but paying the copyright.
Wanting to keep the exclusivity of commercial exploitation, in the end the authors do not even take royalties on the idea, they are copied and whoever has seen has seen.
