Stasera voglio portare alla luce una raccolta che io stesso ho conosciuto abbastanza casualmente. L'ho di fatto acquistata in una serata un po' offuscata, dopo un concerto tenuto in un piccolo circolo giovanile all'interno della Rocca Malatestiana di Cesena. Rimasi colpito da questo libro perchè l'arte riportata è molto affine al mio stile di disegno e sull'onda dell'entusiasmo ho acquistato per l'appunto: "L'arte del Prof. Bad Trip".
Non conoscendo l'artista rimasi piacevolmente sorpreso nell'apprendere che si trattava di un personaggio del tutto nostrano, Gianluca Lerici (1963-2006), che oltre ad aver rappresentato con le sue opere l'underground italiano (dimostrando come anche nel nostro paese sono esistite, ed esistono ancora, situazioni di degrado, corruzione, manipolazione, dipendenze, alienazione etc) ha anche preso parte alla scena musicale punk italiana in maniera attiva.
Nella raccolta viene riportata una parte dei lavori di questo artista, indicizzata a seconda della tecnica utilizzata e dal periodo storico che rispecchiavano. Al suo interno troviamo gli sketch, i fumetti, i collage ed i quadri realizzati da Lerici tra gli anni '80 e '00 e viene riportato anche il fumetto "Il Pasto Nudo", ispirato al romanzo "Naked Lunch" di William S. Burroughs.
Questa raccolta è uscita per Shake Edizioni e, cito dal libro: "si propone di mantenere vivo il ricordo dell'artista".

Good evening to the entire community!
Tonight I want to bring to light a collection that I've known quite casually. I bought it on a somewhat cloudy evening, after a concert held in a small youth club inside the Rocca Malatestiana in Cesena. I was struck by this book because the art reported is very similar to my style of drawing and on the wave of enthusiasm I bought "The Art of Prof. Bad Trip".
Not knowing the artist, I was pleasantly surprised to learn that it was a character entirely our own, Gianluca Lerici (1963-2006), who in addition to having represented with his works the Italian underground (showing how even in our country have existed, and still exist, situations of degradation, corruption, manipulation, addiction, alienation etc.) has also taken part in the Italian punk music scene in an active way.
In the collection is reported a part of the works of this artist, indexed according to the technique used and the historical period that they reflected. Inside there are sketches, comics, collages and paintings made by Lerici between the '80s and '00s and is also reported the comic "Il Pasto Nudo", inspired by the novel "Naked Lunch" by William S. Burroughs.
This collection was published by Shake Edizioni and, quoting from the book, "aims to keep alive the memory of the artist".
