A Great Modern Season For Me: 1000+ SPS Earned, 70K SPS Staked Surpassed + My Next Upgrade Target: Possibilus The Wise!
Today I share my evaluation of my last completed season in Modern Format, season 119, which was a very positive season for me because my game results improved and my financial results also improved compared to previous seasons.
Why did I get this improvement in results?
During season 119, on September 19, 2023, the total ban on using automations in Modern Format battles, tournaments and Brawls was introduced and this is most probably why I got better results in season 119.
After the introduction of the anti-bots measures in the Moder Format (July 19, 2023), my game results and financial results improved significantly, and the same happened in the current season after the modification of the TOS of Splinterlands which also banned battle helpers in the Modern Format.
My guild's results have also improved because for the first time we got a second place in a Brawls and I think this result is also due to the ban of battle helpers in Brawls.
Without battle helpers and bots, real players like me have finally gained importance within Splinterlands and finally have the space they deserve to play with each other without having to be forced to encounter boring, cold bots!
In season 119 I chose to follow the following strategy:
- play until the last day of the season in the Gold league I
- advance in the Diamond leagues on the last day of the season only in case I do not enter the rewarded positions of the Gold leaderboard.
On the last day of season 119 when there was less than 1 hour to the end of the season I was in Gold I league with a rating score = 2804.
The Gold leaderboard rewards the top twenty-nine positions and I was in the 60th position and had also finished the available energy and therefore, following my strategy, I advanced to the Diamond III league in order to accumulate Diamond chests in season 120, the current season.
Season 119 was a very good season because I improved my win rate compared to season 118:
- Win Rate Season 119: 50.97%
- Win Rate Season 118: 41.67%
My average gain in SPS tokens per battle won has also improved
For the first time, I obtain an amount of SPS tokens above 500 units through battles won during the season.
If I consider the total amount of SPS tokens I obtained during the season (battle wins + chests), I exceeded a gain of 1000 SPS in a single season.
SPS token accumulation is my current main goal on Splinterlands, and I am happy to have surpassed a staked amount of 70K SPS.
My main current goal is to accumulate as many SPS tokens as possible because SPS tokens will acquire new use cases in the future.
For example, SPS tokens will be needed in the future in the Tower Defense Soulkeep game.
I have purchased 167 Nightmare Pack and when the playable version of Soulkeep is released I want to play and improve my game achievements and rewards in this game as well in addition to Splinterlands.
My goal is to maintain a minimum of 59K SPS staked in order to have an SPS Boost of at least 10x in the Gold I league on Splinterlands and use the excess of SPS staked tokens on Soulkeep when it is playable.
In the table below you can see the amount of SPS staked or delegated required to have a given SPS Staking Multiplier based on different Rating scores.

The total dollar value of seasonal rewards also increased in season 119 compared to the previous three seasons.
During season 119 I made additional progress in accumulating and upgrading soulbound cards:
- Common Regular: 37% -> 40%
- Common Gold: 12% -> 14%
- Rare Regular: 31% -> 34%
- Rare Gold: 14%
- Epic Regular: 21% -> 22%
- Epic Gold: 3%
- Legendary Regular: 8% -> 9%
- Legendary Gold: 6%

In the current season 120 I will follow the same seasonal strategy that I followed in season 119 and try to improve my win rate even more.
To improve my win rate I need to continue to increase the battle strength of my card collection and today I decided my next upgrade target: Possibilus The Wise level 3.
In the following image you can see the summoners I have in my collection that allow me to use maximum level monster cards in Modern Format Gold leagues.
The summoners I use the most in Modern Format's Gold leagues are Byzantine Kitty and Quix The Devious.
Possibilus The Wise at level 3 would allow me to have one more strategic choice related to summoner cards.
When in a battle the ruleset is Stampede, Possibilus The Wise becomes a really useful card in battle especially when used with cards that have a melee attack and Double Strike ability such as Coastal Sentry and Drybone Raider.
In my card collection I have only 1 BCX of Possibilus the Wise and to reach my upgrade goal (level 3) I have two options:
- Immediately buy 5 BCX from the market and spend $51.26 - Avg. Price: $10,254 per BCX
- make a bid via the Make BID feature of Peakmonsters.
I chose to make a bid because average price in recent weeks has been $9.0120 for BCX and because the best bid on the market is $9.6.
I made a purchase offer of $9.6010 for BCX as you can see in the following screenshot.
I continue to set growth goals on Splinterlands, continue to increase the battle strength of my card collection, and await with much excitement the start of Phase 1.5 of lands and the fully playable versions of Genesis League Soccer and Soulkeep that will expand the Splinterlands ecosystem

Oggi condivido la valutazione della mia ultima stagione completata nel Modern Format, la stagione 119, che è stata una stagione molto positiva per me perchè sono migliorati i miei risultati di gioco e sono migliorati anche i miei risultati finanziari rispetto alle stagioni precedenti.
Perchè ho ottenuto questo miglioramento di risultati?
Durante la stagione 119, il 19 settembre 2023, è stato introdotto il divieto totale di utilizzare le automazioni nelle battaglie del Modern Format, dei tornei e delle Brawls e questo è con molta probalità il motivo per cui ho ottenuto risultati migliori nella stagione 119.

Dopo l'introduzione delle misure antibots nel Moder Format (19 luglio 2023) i miei risultati di gioco e i miei risultati finanziari hanno subito un netto miglioramento e lo stesso è avvenuto nella stagione attuale dopo la modifica dei TOS di Splinterlands che hanno vietato anche i battle helpers nel Modern Format.
Sono migliorati anche i risultati della mia gilda perchè per la prima volta abbiamo ottenuto un secondo posto in una Brawls e penso che anche questo risultato sia dovuto al divieto di utilizzare i battle helpers nelle Brawls.
Senza battle helpers e bots i giocatori reali come me hanno finalmente acquistato importanza all'interno di Splinterlands e finalmente hanno lo spazio che meritano per giocare tra di loro senza dover essere costretti a incontrare i noiosi e freddi bots!
Nella stagione 119 ho scelto di seguire la seguente strategia:
- giocare fino all'ultimo giorno della stagione nella lega Gold I
- avanzare nelle leghe Diamond l'ultimo giorno della stagione solo nel caso in cui non entro nelle posizioni premiate della classifica Gold.
L'ultimo giorno della stagione 119 quando mancava meno di 1 ora alla fine della stagione ero in lega Gold I con un punteggio di rating = 2804.
La classifica Gold premia le prime ventinove posizioni e io ero in 60 posizione e avevo anche finito l'energia disponibile e per questo motivo, seguendo la mia strategia, sono avanzato nella lega Diamond III per poter accumulare forzieri Diamond nella stagione 120, la stagione attualmente in corso.
La stagione 119 è stata una stagione molto positiva perchè ho migliorato il mio win rate rispetto alla stagione 118:
- Win Rate Season 119: 50.97%
- Win Rate Season 118: 41.67%
E' migliorato anche il mio guadagno medio in token SPS per battaglia vinta
Per la prima volta ottengo un quantitativo di token SPS superiore alle 500 unità grazie alle battaglie vinte durante la stagione.
Se considero il totale dei token SPS che ho ottenuto durante la stagione (vittorie in battaglia + forzieri) ho superato un guadagno di 1000 SPS in una sola stagione.
L'accumulo di token SPS è il mio obiettivo principale attuale su Splinterlands e sono contento di aver superato un quantitativo di 70K SPS staked.
Il mio obiettivo principale attuale è accumulare il maggior numero di token SPS perchè i token SPS acquisiranno nuovi casi d'uso in futuro.
Ad esempio i token SPS saranno necessari in futuro nel gioco Tower Defense Soulkeep.
Io ho acquistato 167 Nightmare Pack e quando la versione giocabile di Soulkeep sarà rilasciata voglio giocare e migliorare i miei risultati di gioco e le mie ricompense anche in questo gioco oltre a Splinterlands.
Il mio obiettivo è di mantenere un minimo di 59K SPS staked per avere un SPS Boost di almeno 10x nella lega Gold I su Splinterlands e utilizzare la parte eccedente dei token SPS staked su Soulkeep quando sarà giocabile.
Nella tabella seguente puoi vedere il quantitativo di SPS staked o delegated richiesto per avere un determinato SPS Staking Multiplier in base a diversi punteggi di Rating.

Anche il valore totale in dollari delle ricompense stagionale è aumentato nella stagione 119 rispetto alle tre precedenti stagioni.
Durante la stagione 119 ho fatto ulteriori passi in avanti nell'accumulo e potenziamento delle carte soulbound:
- Common Regular: 37% -> 40%

Nella stagione 120 attualmente in corso seguirò la stessa strategia stagionale che ho seguito nella stagione 119 e cercherò di migliorare ancora di più il mio win rate.
Per migliorare il mio win rate devo continuare ad aumentare la forza in battaglia della mia collezione di carte e oggi ho deciso il mio prossimo obiettivo di upgrade: Possibilus The Wise di livello 3.
Nell'immagine seguente puoi vedere gli evocatori che ho nella mia collezione che mi permettono di utilizzare le carte mostro di livello massimo nelle leghe Gold del Modern Format.
Gli evocatori che uso di più nelle leghe Gold del Modern Format sono Byzantine Kitty e Quix The Devious.
Possibilus The Wise di livello 3 mi permetterebbe di avere una scelta strategica in più relativa alle carte evocatore.
Quando in una battaglia la ruleset è Stampede, Possibilus The Wise diventa una carta davvero utile in battaglia soprattutto se utilizzata con carte che un attacco da mischia e l'abilità Double Strike come ad esempio Coastal Sentry e Drybone Raider.
Nella mia collezione di carte ho solo 1 BCX di Possibilus the Wise e per raggiungere il mio obiettivo di upgrade (livello 3) ho due possibilità:
- acquistare subito 5 BCX dal mercato e spendere 51.26$ - Avg. Price: 10.254$ per BCX
- effettuare un offerta di acquisto tramite la funzionalità Make BID di Peakmonsters.
Ho scelto di effettuare un'offerta di acquisto perchè prezzo medio delle ultime settimane è stato di 9.0120$ per BCX e perchè la migliore offerta di acquisto sul mercato è di 9.6$.
Ho fatto un offerta di acquisto di 9.6010$ per BCX come puoi vedere nello screenshot seguente.
Io continuo a pormi obiettivi di crescita su Splinterlands, continuo ad aumentare la forza in battaglia della mia collezione di carte e aspetto con molta eccitazione l'inizio della fase 1.5 delle lands e le versioni completamente giocabili di Genesis League Soccer e Soulkeep che espanderanno l'ecosistema di Splinterlands
