Farming Tales and OneUp Cartel Investment: Financial Report No.29
Today I return to write about Farming Tales after a long time since my last post about this game dating back to March 30, 2023.
Farming Tales is the only non-Hive based game that I have chosen to play and invest in.
On Farming Tales I have my own farm but I also manage a second farm that is not mine but is owned by the Cartel project.
Today I publish my twenty-ninth Financial Report of Cartel's investment in Farming Tales.

What is Farming Tales?
(Brief Introduction)
Farming Tales is an NFT-based farming simulator built and developed on the WAX blockchain.
I have not tried all existing blockchain-based farming games, but among those I have tried Farming Tales is definitely the most impressive farming game from a development perspective because:
- it has beautiful graphics and uses a 3D graphics engine
- it has three different game modes to choose from:
- 1. New Waxchester Solo Mode
- 2. ** New Waxchester Multiplayer Mode
- 3. ** Farmer Mode
To start playing Farming Tales you need to create a Wax Wallet.
You can create it in two ways (Wax Cloud Wallet or Anchor Wallet) by following the steps indicated in the following guide: Tutorial: How to Create a Wax Wallet
To play the multiplayer mode you must register using an e-mail.

Cartel Investment Update: Financial Report #29
Cartel (

Within the Cartel project I am:
- an investor because I purchased 62.37 CARTEL (second-level token of the Hive blockchain).
- an operator because I manage Cartel's investment on Farming Tales.
OneUp Cartel invested in the Farming Tales project in two successive times:
- First investment: 500 HBD (January 29, 2022)
- Second investment: 250 WAX (March 1, 2022)
From the conversion of HBD tokens to WAX tokens, I obtained 1583 WAX tokens, which when added to the second investment of 250 WAX produced a total of 1833 WAX tokens.
1833 WAX tokens is therefore the total amount of tokens I had available to invest in Farming Tales.
I used the 1833 WAX tokens in the following ways:
- Purchase of NFT: 1585.59 WAX
- Purchase of WAX Resources (CPU,RAM,NET): 51.54 WAX
- Purchase of 14970 SEST tokens: 195.00 WAX
- Cost of trading on Alcor Exchange: 0.87 WAX
VALUE ASSETS + REWARDS
The value of the NFT collection of the Cartel project
606 days have passed from January 29 to today, September 27, 2023.
The current estimated value of NFTs contained in Cartel's wallet on WAX is 1568 WAX (Source: Inventory's Value at https://wax.atomichub.io/.
The value of CBIT and SEST (Staked + Liquids)
AtomicHub's Inventory's value section only calculates the estimated value of NFTs, and for this reason I created a table to calculate the total value in WAX and in dollars of the Farming Tales tokens accumulated so far by Cartel.
The total value of Farming Tales tokens (CBIT+SEST) accumulated by Cartel is 266.36 WAX = $10.70.

Cartel Wallet has 2821 WAX liquids.
Profit and ROI Calculation
Thanks to the data I collected today, I can calculate four financial results:
- Profit and ROI of Cartel's investment considering the value in WAX tokens
- Profit and ROI of Cartel's investment considering the value in dollars.
If I consider the value in WAX of the initial investment and the value in WAX today, the financial results are very positive:
- Profit: +2873.91 WAX
- ROI: +156.79%
If I consider the dollar value of the initial investment at the time it was converted into WAX tokens and the current dollar value of Cartel's assets the financial results are negative:
- Profit: -369.28 $
- ROI: -66.14%
The problem of Cartel's investment in Farming Tales has always been mainly the value of the WAX token, which due to the long Bear Market that is still ongoing has lost a lot of value compared to the time when Cartel invested in Farming Tales.
When Cartel invested in Farming Tales the WAX token had a value of 0.2853$ while today a WAX token has a value of 0.040164$
This means that in the time interval between January 29, 2022 and today, September 27, 2023, the WAX token has decreased in value by -85.92%.
The value of Farming Tales assets has also decreased a lot from the time Cartel invested in Farming Tales.
Since my last report (March 30, 2023) the SEST and CBIT tokens have lost so much value relative to the dollar and relative to the WAX token.
The WAX token has lost 85.62% of its value since Cartel invested in Farming Tales.
The SEST and CBIT tokens have lost more than 90 percent of their market value since the time Cartel invested in Farming Tales.
Under my management Cartel's investment in Farming Tales has lost 66.14 percent of its value relative to the time Cartel invested in Farming Tales.
I consider my management positive because I limited the damage in a Bear Market situation where WAX was hit very hard and where it lost more value than Cartel's investment.
If I had not been trading NFTs and had not long ago begun selling Farming Tales assets in exchange for WAX tokens the financial results I record today would have been much more negative than they are today.
My investment plan on Farming Tales (Update)
My main goal on Farming Tales has not changed from my previous report:
I will have achieved this goal when I have returned Cartel the value of the initial investment in dollars: 558.33$.
My strategy does not change and I will continue to increase the amount of liquid WAX in Cartel's wallet hoping that WAX will return to the value it had before the Bear Market began.
Compared to my previous report, I have increased the amount of liquid WAX by +206 WAX with a daily increase of +1.14 WAX per day.
I will try to increase this daily increase in WAX by selling the NFTs Seed Box producing GreenHouse and selling the CBIT tokens producing SEST staked tokens.
Cartel has a production of 8.81 CBITs per day.
Today I withdrew 1554.28 CBIT from the Cartel ingame wallet and converted them to 9481.34 SEST.
I will keep in the ingame wallet 1000 CBIT and convert all excess CBIT to SEST.
I will stake the SEST tokens until I reach a production of CBIT = 20 per day.
From then on I will sell all SEST tokens and CBITs to increase the amount of liquid WAX tokens in Cartel's wallet with more speed.
Achieving positive financial results for Cartel's investment in Farming Tales will depend almost entirely on the future value of the WAX token.
I will continue to increase the amount of liquid WAX tokens by waiting for the time when the Bear Market ends.
It will also have to end sooner or later this damn Bear Market!
Interesting news announced on the Farmin Tales Discord server
I conclude this post with some interesting news that has been posted on the Farming Tales Discord server.
On June 30, 2023, the Farming Tales team announced the development of a new MMO-type game that is expected to be released during the fall.

Cos'è Farming Tales?
(Breve Introduzione)
Farming Tales è un simulatore di farming basato su NFT costruito e sviluppato sulla blockchain WAX.
Non ho provato tutti i giochi di Farming basati su blockchain esistenti ma tra quelli che ho provato Farming Tales è sicuramente il gioco di farming più imponente dal punto di vista dello sviluppo perchè:
- ha una bella grafica e utilizza un motore grafico 3D
- ha tre modalità di gioco differenti tra cui scegliere:
- 1. New Waxchester Solo Mode
- 2. New Waxchester Multiplayer Mode
- 3. Farmer Mode
Per iniziare a giocare a Farming Tales devi creare un Wax Wallet.

Cartel Investment Update: Report #29

All'interno del progetto Cartel sono:
- un investitore perchè ho acquistato 62.37 CARTEL (token di secondo livello della blockchain di Hive).
- un operatore perchè gestisco l'investimento di Cartel su Farming Tales.
Cartel ha investito nel progetto di Farming Tales in due momenti successivi: - Primo investimento: 500 HBD (29 gennaio 2022)
- Secondo investimento: 250 WAX (1 marzo 2022)
Dalla conversione dei token HBD in token WAX ho ottenuto 1583 token WAX che sommati al secondo investimento di 250 WAX hanno prodotto un totale di 1833 token WAX da investire (investimento totale iniziale).
Ho utilizzato i 1833 token WAX nel seguente modo:
- Acquisto di NFT: 1585.59 WAX
- Acquisto di Risorse WAX (CPU): 51.54 WAX
- Acquisto di 14970 token SEST: 195.00 WAX
- Costi per operazioni di trading su Alcor Exchange: 0.87 WAX

Il valore della collezione di NFT del progetto Cartel
Dal 29 gennaio ad oggi 27 settembre 2023 sono trascorsi 606 giorni.
Il valore stimato attuale degli NFTs contenuti nel wallet di Cartel su WAX è di 1568 WAX (Source: Inventory's Value su https://wax.atomichub.io/.
Il valore dei token CBIT e SEST (Staked + Liquids)
La sezione Inventory's value di AtomicHub calcola solo il valore stimato degli NFTs e per questo motivo ho creato una tabella per calcolare il valore totale in WAX e in dollari dei token di Farming Tales accumulati fino ad ora da Cartel.
Il valore totale dei tokens di Farming Tales (CBIT+SEST) accumulati da Cartel è di 266.36 WAX = 10.70$.

Il Wallet di Cartel ha 2821 WAX liquidi.
Profit e ROI
Grazie ai dati che ho raccolto oggi posso calcolare quattro risultati finanziari:
- Profit e ROI dell'investimento di Cartel considerando il valore in WAX token
- Profit e ROI dell'investimento di Cartel considerando il valore in dollari
Se considero il valore in WAX dell'investimento iniziale e il valore in WAX attuale i risultati finanziari sono molto positivi:
- Profit: +2873.91 WAX
- ROI: +156.79%
Se considero il valore in dollari dell'investimento iniziale nel momento in cui è stato convertito in token WAX e il valore in dollari attuale degli assets di Cartel i risultati finanziari sono molto negativi:
- Profit: -369.28 $
- ROI: -66.14%
Il problema dell'investimento di Cartel su Farming Tales è sempre stato principalmente il valore del token WAX che per effetto del lungo Bear Market ancora in corso ha perso molto valore rispetto al momento in cui Cartel ha investito in Farming Tales.
Quando Cartel ha investito su Farming Tales il token WAX aveva un valore di 0.2853$ mentre oggi un token WAX ha un valore di 0.040164$
Questo vuol dire che nell'intervallo di tempo tra il 29 gennaio 2022 e oggi 27 settembre 2023 il token WAX ha registrato una diminuzione di valore del -85.92%.
Anche il valore degli assets di Farming Tales è diminuito molto rispetto al momento in cui Cartel ha investito in Farming Tales.
Rispetto al mio ultimo report (30 marzo 2023) i token SEST e CBIT hanno perso tanto valore rispetto al dollaro e rispetto al token WAX.
Il token WAX ha perso l'85.62% del suo valore rispetto al momento in cui Cartel ha investito su Farming Tales.
I token SEST e CBIT hanno perso più del 90% del loro valore di mercato rispetto al momento in cui Cartel ha investito su Farming Tales.
Con la mia gestione l'investimento di Cartel su Farming Tales ha perso il 66.14% del suo valore rispetto al momento in cui Cartel ha investito su Farming Tales.
Considero la mia gestione positiva perchè ho limitato i danni in una situazione di Bear Market in cui WAX è stata colpita molto duramente e in cui ha perso più valore dell'investimento di Cartel.
Il mio piano di investimento su Farming Tales (Update)
Il mio obiettivo principale su Farming Tales non è cambiato rispetto al mio report precedente:
Avrò raggiunto questo obiettivo quando avrò restituito a Cartel il valore dell'investimento iniziale in dollari: 558.33$.
La mia strategia non cambia e continuerò ad aumentare il quantitativo di WAX liquidi nel wallet di cartel sperando che WAX ritorni al valore che aveva prima dell'inizio del Bear Market.
Rispetto al mio report precedente ho aumentato il quantitativo di WAX liquidi di +206 WAX con un incremento giornaliero di +1.14 WAX al giorno.
Cercherò di aumentare questo incremento giornaliero vendendo gli NFTs Seed Box che produce il GreenHouse e vendendo i token CBIT che producono i token SEST staked.
Cartel ha una produzione di 8.81 CBIT al giorno.
Oggi ho prelevato dall'ingame wallet 1554.28 CBIT e li ho convertiti in 9481.34 SEST.
Manterrò nell'ingame wallet 1000 CBIT e convertirò tutti i CBIT eccedenti in SEST.
Metterò i token SEST in stake fino a quando non raggiungerò una produzione di CBIT = 20 al giorno.
Da quel momento in poi venderò tutti i token SEST e CBIT per aumentare con più velocità il quantitativo di token WAX liquidi nel wallet di Cartel.
Raggiungere dei risultati finanziari positivi per l'investimento di Cartel su Farming Tales dipenderà quasi totalmente dal valore futuro del token WAX.
Io continuerò ad aumentare il quantitativo di token WAX liquidi aspettando il momento in cui il Bear Market finirà.
Dovrà anche finire prima o poi questo maledetto Bear Market!
