After a long time I'm finally back to writing!
I apologize to everyone for my long absence and, above all, I apologize to all the Hivers friends who I have not contacted outside of Hive even just for reassurance; it was a long and very difficult period for me and my family even if, at the same time, it gave us the greatest joy of our lives.
However, let's go in order because a lot of things have happened; we have currently been living in Rome for about two months, I started writing again today because I bought the laptop a few days ago and, finally, I can resume my routines and, above all, I can return to dedicating myself more consistently to my passion for writing.

This is Samuel!
We left for Rome simply to do yet another check-up, when we arrived here my wife unfortunately had a placental abruption and, as soon as she set foot in the hospital, she had emergency surgery... on September 23rd, a few weeks early Samuel was born!
Fate gave us a hand, if we had arrived at the hospital 10 minutes later today neither Samuele nor my wife would be there, among other things the help was double given that, if we had not decided to go for that check-up, we would not have we would have met at FateBeneFratelli in Rome and things would have been different.
I'm not here to say that I had the check-up, carried out by a dear friend of mine who works in Rome, brought forward after we had been sent home from the hospital in Reggio Calabria two days earlier with a diagnosis which said that everything was in order and my wife was very well (naturally, when we return to Reggio, I will remind all those criminals who call themselves doctors and nurses what it means to work conscientiously and, above all, I will give them the opportunity not to forget for the rest of their lives my name).
By virtue of these events and in light of the fact that Calabrian hospitals and healthcare are at third world level and, also considering, that Samuele had to spend his entire first month of life in the intensive care departments of both the hospital where he was born and following Baby Jesus, Reny and I decided to stay in Rome for as long as necessary... which for us means until Samuele has had heart surgery and has fully recovered .
Our beloved Son has already undergone a "lung banding" operation almost two weeks ago; after a series of attempts with medicines, the doctors realized that the child was not growing and this intervention was necessary; the operation, despite the complications, was a true work of art by the Cardio-Surgeon and now Samuele is well, he has started to grow again and has finally been able to return home (his current home in Rome), naturally the path it is still long, he will have to grow and reach seven kilos and then he will be able to have the other operation, the important and decisive one.
It is certainly a complicated operation but it is necessary and he must, among other things, do it within the first year of life; as parents we are worried and will be until everything is over but we know that our Son is strong and above all he is in the hands of doctors and nurses who are excellent in their field.
Let's now move on to a small work update; I managed to finally set up my online business, I moved my shop for licenses and digital products from Ebay to Etsy and things, for now, are going very well.
Here too I believe that fate had a hand in us because, to be honest, the expenses we are incurring here in Rome for the rent of the house, sustenance and medicines are really high... expenses that we manage to cover precisely thanks to the substantial increase in sales of my online store.
If we consider that in a few days they should make me an offer of collaboration which implies always working remotely, the sum of the two salaries leads me to be financially comfortable and to carry out my work without leaving home or in any case, as is happening now, from any city my family and I prefer.
Well, I think that, for a first update, this is enough for today; naturally this article of mine will be followed by many others since I intend to return to my writing consistently.
I will definitely change my schedule since I spend the night checking on Samuele; it doesn't matter, I have always loved the night and above all I would never stop looking at my son eh eh!

Dopo tanto tempo sono finalmente tornato a scrivere!
Chiedo scusa a tutti per la mia lunga assenza e, soprattutto, chiedo scusa a tutti gli amici Hivers che non ho contattato al di fuori di Hive anche solo per una rassicurazione; è stato per me e la mia famiglia un periodo lungo e molto difficile anche se, allo stesso tempo, ci ha regalato la gioia più grande della nostra vita.
Andiamo però con ordine perché di cose ne sono successe tante; attualmente viviamo a Roma da circa due mesi, ho ricominciato a scrivere oggi perché da qualche giorno ho acquistato il PC portatile e, finalmente, posso riprendere le mie routine e, soprattutto, posso tornare a dedicarmi con più costanza alla passione per la scrittura.
Oltre il nostro cambio di città, la novità più grande, la si può vedere nella foto di copertina...
Lui è Samuele!
Siamo partiti per Roma semplicemente per fare l'ennesimo controllo, arrivati qui mia moglie ha purtroppo avuto il distacco della placenta e, non appena messo piede in ospedale, è stata operata d'urgenza...il 23 Settembre, con qualche settimana di anticipo è nato Samuele!
Il fato ci ha dato una mano, fossimo arrivati in ospedale 10 minuti dopo oggi non ci sarebbero ne Samuele ne mia Moglia, tra le altre cose l'aiuto è stato doppio visto che, se non avessimo deciso di andare a fare quel controllo, non ci saremmo trovati al FateBeneFratelli a Roma e le cose sarebbero andate diversamente.
Non sto qui a dire che il controllo, effettuato da parte di un mio caro amico che lavora a Roma, lo avevo fatto anticipare dopo che, dall'ospedale di Reggio Calabria, due giorni prima eravamo stati rimandati a casa con una diagnosi che diceva che era tutto in ordine e mia moglie stava benissimo (naturalmente, quando torneremo a Reggio, provvederò a ricordare a tutti quei delinquenti che si fanno chiamare medici e infermieri, cosa vuol dire lavorare con coscienza e, soprattutto, gli darò modo di non dimenticare per il resto della loro vita il mio nome).
In virtù di questi accadimenti e alla luce del fatto che gli ospedali e la sanità Calabrese sono a livello di terzo mondo e, considerando anche, che Samuele ha dovuto passare tutto il suo primo mese di vita nei reparti di Terapia intensiva sia dell'ospedale in cui è nato sia in seguito al Bambin Gesù, io e Reny abbiamo deciso di restare a Roma per tutto il tempo necessario... che per noi vuol dire fino a quando Samuele non avrà fatto l'intervento al cuore e non si sarà completamente ripreso.
Il nostro amato Figlio ha già effettuato un intervento di "bendaggio polmonare" ormai quasi due settimane fa; dopo una serie di tentativi con i medicinali i dottori si sono resi conto che il bambino non cresceva e questo intervento è risultato necessario; l'operazione, nonostante delle complicazioni, è stato una vera e propria opera d'arte del Cardio-Chirurgo e ora Samuele sta bene, ha ripreso a crescere e finalmente è potuto tornare a casa (la sua attuale casa Romana), naturalmente il percorso è ancora lungo, dovrà crescere e arrivare a sette chili e poi potrà fare l'altro intervento, quello importante e risolutivo.
E' un intervento sicuramente complicato ma è necessario e deve, tra le altre cose, farlo entro il primo anno di vita; da genitori noi siamo preoccupati e lo saremo fin quando tutto non sarà passato ma sappiamo che nostro Figlio è forte e soprattutto è nelle mani di medici e infermieri che sono delle eccellenze nel loro campo.
Passiamo ora ad un piccolo aggiornamento lavorativo; sono riuscito a mettere finalmente in piedi la mia attività Online, ho trasferito il mio Shop di licenze e prodotti digitali Da Ebay a Etsy e le cose, per ora, vanno molto bene.
Anche qui credo che il destino ci abbia messo lo zampino poiché, ad essere sinceri, le spese che stiamo sostenendo qui a Roma per l'affitto della casa, il sostentamento e le medicine sono davvero alte... spese però che riusciamo a coprire proprio grazie all'aumento sostanziale delle vendite del mio negozio Online.
